  1. The main guy was trying to get Winnie and the blonde chick from Freaks & Geeks up to his apartment for a three way by promising to play a Wilco CD for them. When he went into the bedroom upon hearing them giggling, Passenger Side commenced to play. Pretty sweet!
  2. Aww, shoot. I was just trying out a new bit. Edit: This is Ction.
  3. Best: Otto's in DeKalb, or Lynagh's in Lexington, both are bars.
  4. Are you hitting on me? Congrats to your friends, WW.
  5. PERFECT TIMING The rhythym of the dog snoring, Pulling in and out of breath, Like the ocean at night, Waves building and subsiding At their own grand pace, Marks off a small chunk of time In just the perfect way, While the sun is still just a theory, While all possibility fills the dream Of the day.
  6. Hey Tim, Nice tunes. Just be careful what you wish for.
  7. That was great! (Hard to believe that those are really grown men making a living).
  8. Millennium Park Wilco posters are now available on my website: Chicago Poster
  9. SUNDAY SIDEWALK (SAVING THE WORLD) She said This is hard won Blood and sweat, And I ain't gonna just Give it away, Except to the hungry And the pure. I show you my best places. I show you The tip of a secret In a dream. Just enough To wanna keep going. Just enough To show you What you and I mean. Just enough For something as frivolous As saving the world, A glimpse of your heart. I wrap myself in these leaves, Beside this barred window, Behind this old dumpster Beyond your steep stares. I say that I'll see you And I start it all over. The sands await me, And I will see what they sa
  10. Happy Birthday and thanks for sharing the music!
  11. Was just talking about wanting more music from ol' Ray. Thanks!
  12. Looks like a pretty good setlist. In addition to a Ryan Adams tune, they played a Beatles song AND a Band song. It's so like Phil not to play favorites...
  13. Posters are for sale on my website, and soon on Wilcoworld.net. POSTERS
  14. I don't think this one was black and white. I think it was from before that one. I could be wrong though. The Any Loov quote was from when Brian didn't want the boys to see him cause he had been beat up by a sailor he had propositioned, and John went into his office anyway. Brian looked bruised and ashamed, and John said "It's okay, Eppy. Any loov is good loov". Probably didn't happen, but the actor nailed the accent, so it was a nice moment.
  15. Wow, that was a really nice piece. Good to sit here and read while everyone else is still asleep.
  16. Cool, thanks. He did a good job. Another gem: Anthology version of Good Morning, Good Morning. Killer. I'd be curious to see if that guy who likes the Band better (which is great because, as John said to Brian Epstein, at least in the 1980 made for TV movie, "Any loov is good loov") listened to the Beatles as a kid. I think that may have a lot to do with it. They wired the aural architecture of many a kid's brain. Sorry, I think about this stuff a lot when I'm painting and don't have anyone to talk to. Thanks for starting this thread, Chris.
  17. Who played the organ on "It's Only A Northern Song"? Listening to Anthology 2 today. Man. Hats off to the Beatles. And then some...
