  1. Is it just me, or are they all sitting in Glenn's lap?
  2. Maybe not "I assassin down the avenue"... How about something from Acuff-Rose? There are some good ones in that.
  3. You're a man, now!!! Happy Birthday, Bjorn!
  4. You're good people. Hope it's a fun night!
  5. Wow, that looks like a good setlist! I'd like to see him soon.
  6. TIME MACHINE These words were made possible By the rain, coming down again, Cuts to the core, arising back when It was this time of year, It was this time of day, And more than any smell or taste, Or song you could play, I remember that lonely bath tub, In front of the giant window, Down the block from the pool hall Breakfast, cheap beer. And you came and got me, And we got a Christmas tree, In the rain, Just like a day years before, When we got a Christmas tree, You and me, Maybe the one the cat got in, Maybe it was the year I got Yesterday and Today, And that tiny guitar.
  7. I can't believe you just did that! Sorry to you all whose shows got cancelled. That does suck. I'd be disappointed, too. But I don't think Wilco is a band who takes cancelling shows lightly.
  8. I was getting on here to tell how everyone was looking at me in the drivethru at McD's the other day screaming "O-RANGE JUICE!" into the order box, and she kept saying "What? I don't understand...".
  9. Dumbeldore's in love with Clark Griswald?
  10. I read the New Yorker, and I have to wonder why their art critics are 100 years old, then they have Sasha writing about mainstream pop and hip hop. He's not a bad writer, but seems to have limited or odd tastes (IMO). A shame that YHF doesn't speak to him. He's probably just being a contrarian, since so many people view that album as a pretty big deal.
  11. Free Aimee Mann tix? Free Steve Earle show? It must be nice to live in a proper city.
  12. You should go to her house and fuck up her weatherstripping. Eye for an eye and all that... They announced on the SNL News that Al Gore had won the Nobel Prize, but that in a stunning reversal, the Supreme Court had awarded it to George W. Bush.
