they should move to the west coast. doesn't have to be Cali. i think Patterson Hood of DBT likes living in Portland. he's been there awhile now. get a nice place out in the country.

when I got my tickets, top price available was $75. pretty good seats on the floor for the second show. total bill was $150 for 2. i have noticed this happen on previous wilco band presales. last time they played seattle, i got a pair on the presale for one show. later, i bought tickets for the second show on normal on sale & they were more for nearly identical seats. i just forgot about it. i'm only going to one this tour because drive-by truckers are playing at the same time as the first wilco show.

i'm jealous! that will be an excellent venue to see wilco. & you have in n out right outside the door for post gig munchies. nice!

in my experience, they are usually listed as a seperate line item on the final tally. along with shipping fees, etc. typically on a $75 ticket it would be another 15-25 % tacked on at the end.

i noticed that on the band presale there were no ticketbastard service charges. nice!

pipe dream time: it would be beyond cool if on night 1 in seattle some/any wilco members showed up to play with drive-by truckers. the paramount (wilco) is about a half mile from the showbox (dbt). since the showbox is a club, dbt will be on much later than wilco. that & dbt really like this club & usually play at least 2.5 hours there. no curfew other than 2:00 AM booze cut off. one can dream!

DBT are a great live band (studio too). You won't be disappointed. They should be rested as Patterson Hood lives in Portland now. On a practical note: the tickets in Seattle were less than half the cost of Wilco. I'm seeing DBT on 3/18 & Wilco 3/19. that's pushing it for me but the deed needs to be done!

you should try to squeeze in a drive-by truckers show too! they are doing 2 nights the same week as wilco in portland. i'm getting tired just thinking about it haha

you should just to be sure. that would be fun to see them in vegas. i used to go to vegas a lot but the greed of the casinos has finally got to me. all the extra add on fees are out of control. you have so many good music rooms down there.

really glad i went for night 2. turns out drive-by truckers are playing seattle night 1. 2 of my favorite bands in the world back to back!

I got ADA seats on main floor (they are a little elevated so dont have to stand. sadly i can't stand for a show anymore). row T second seattle show. got burned a few times from ticketbastard. hit buy & it says someone else got the tickets.

they are based in chicago.....

blatant cash grab. i checked prices for our local shed (which is a total pain in the @$$ to get in & out of). lawn tickets are reasonable, at least this week but the reserved seats are over $100 even for the lesser ones. pass.

i had the good luck to sit front row for 2 shows on the schmilco tour, 1 in the middle, 1 directly in front of Pat. i don't think he was disconnected/bored but i suppose it could look that way. i think he was baked! easier to do than most places in seattle. his playing was superb regardless.

i have a local record store i like to support. there are so few of them now. so i'll be heading there tomorrow morning (they also have a nice cafe for breakfast) to get my cd.
