Perhaps you ought to drop them a note....it does sound like you might have been accidentally overlooked. I also wondered if they had chosen a Grand Prize winner. They had a lot of fabulous stuff to choose from!

Oh, nice! I love the side perspective on the band shell, and you're right, the blue one does look like the end of Handshake Drugs sounds!

Well Brianne, I made you this lovely berry-topped cake, and it turned out perfectly, but then I went and left it where the kids could find it.........big mistake! But at least there's still this sliver left for you to wrap up your birthday with, so enjoy! Hope you had a marvelous time at Largo! Wish I could've been there too. Have a wonderful new year of your life!

My camera is a Sony as well.....a Cyber-Shot, model # DSC-H1. It doesn't have the low-light capabilities that Clay's does, so some photoshop fiddling can be necessary at times. Also, if you have a lot of blue- or pale-eyed people in the family, I must say that this camera's red-eye reduction function isn't too hot. (Clay, do you have problems with that function in your camera?) My family are all blue-eyed, so it's a bit of a problem. I'm not sure the DSC-H1 still exists...Sony has come out with the DSC-H2, which my son says is a big improvement. Better lens, for one thing. Thanks for your ni

That's absolutely horrible and heartbreaking.

Oh no, this is clearly part of the birthdaying

Well, he was anyway, but I'm afraid he held it just a little bit too much in my direction and I'm afraid the glass is empty now. Sorry, rwrkb.....I'll pour us both another. Cheers to Pocahontas.

Sharing is sweet. Our boys are adorable.

Beautiful/handsome, and accomplished.....no parent can ask for more. Congratulations on turning out terrific "babies".

I love that picture too! I just got lucky on that. It's during Kingpin, and he was exhorting us to scream and get all that out of our systems, for our own good health!

Yeah, but I'm too honest for my own good.....and besides, ya know what? Sometimes I really like the sheer energy of some of the blurred ones, even though they are imperfect. Like that one where Nels is leaning onto Jeff.....oh wait, it's one of the Wichita photos, not Springfield.....and his body mirrors the curve of the stage curves.....purdy. I did hold back the worst of the bunch though, believe me! But yeah, I agree with your philosophy of taking masses of photos and hoping for even 5 or maybe 10% to come out well.

That's beautiful! Congratulations, you needed a bit more estrogen in that house full of menfolk!

How sweet, Christy! So you know that you are pregnant with a girl?

You guys all drive carefully.

So anyway, my lovely Via Chicagans (is so a word), here at looong last are my photos from the Springfield, Missouri show on 10-16-06, yet another mind-blowingly amazing performance by our favorite band. Here, enjoy. Sorry for the blurry ones; my camera struggled with the (moderately) low light. Linky dink: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33207210@N00/...371349466/show/ Hope you like them. What a show! Even the looney drunks that night couldn't take away too much from the incredible & intimate concert.

Thanks Evonne, you flatter me. But then you didn't see all the really awful blurry shots.... Up in moments, my photos from Springfield, MO.

Hi Whistle Song!!! (Whose real first name I've forgotten....Sorry!) Welcome to Via Chicago! I loved meeting you and your delightful daughter (Hi Holly! ). It's great to see you here. Yes, for the bit torrent site you need to sign up separately. If you have any trouble downloading the Cotillion show, just ask.

That's a very cool costume!

Fantastic, Clay! And hey look, there I am at the end, taking that picture of Jeff taking that picture of you! Ooooh, it's like when you hold two mirrors up to each other and you can see infinity!

Thought you'd like that last one, Clay!

That's during Kingpin....whatever he was saying had something to do with hearing.....anyone remember? I love that one too!
