This describes my feelings about the album perfectly. It's not a bad album, but not up to the usual standards, in my opinion. I'm glad for everyone who is digging this album, but personally, I'm disappointed.

She's been on tour for a year. Probably been partying pretty hard, considering her age and how quickly her fame rose. Exhaustion seems pretty reasonable.

Who opened the show at the Fox? I can't really picture them playing there. I saw Iggy solo at the State, and that was weird enough with him humping all the statues and stuff. The Fox is way too ornate. Was that a seated show? I can't imagine that they would have pulled the seats out of the Fox, but at the same time, a seated Stooges show seems wrong.

That was my first Wilco show too, although I was much newer to them at that point than you were. I bought tickets, but Ticketmaster sent them to my old address and I wasn't able to recover them. Ended up having to buy another set of tickets, because at that point I was in deep and could not miss the show. The tickets that were sent to my old house were much better seats than the ones I ended up with, so that was a bummer, but that was one hell of a show. I've seen them several times since then, and I think that's still the best Wilco show that I saw.

I really enjoyed Shellac. The Stooges were awesome. I saw them in 2003, and that was a better show, but mostly just from the excitement of them being reunited. This was a high energy show, and the band sounded great. I thought it was weird that they ended with the song from Iggy's solo album, but otherwise no real complaints. The new stuff even fit into the set pretty well.

Update! I am a much better roto player than I am head-to-head. Or maybe it's just the crazy 10 x 10 head-to-head league I'm in that I can't figure out.
