You must be a blast at cocktail parties. One does not brandish a fake firearm south of the Mason Dixon Line because one is likely to be on the business end of a REAL firearm. -

One thing that really struck me this week that Widmore was APOLOGETIC for what he was going to ask Desmond to do. He has either had a change of heart or his actions toward Desmond in the past were either trying to protect Penny or put Desmond on a path toward the Island and his destiny.

OHHHH!!! Now I get it. You are truly the man. -
I gotta ask...what prompted reviving this year old thread? Did Madonna do something this weekend or is it juat a general shoutout?

Althought that's not the way I roll (in either thought or action), I always perceived a bit of a racial aspect to the way Eagles fans reacted and treated McNabb. Hey, I am a Cowboys fan. I am not fond of the Eagles in any sense of the word. But I respect McNabb. For all appearances,he is a stand up guy. (Not like the other Pennsylvania pro team). He is a warrior and I think the Eagles will rue the day.

Are you kidding me? The Eagles Trade Donovan McNabb? And to a division rival? The Washington Redskins? Replacing him with an unproven backup? Or with a convicted felon? Donovan McNabb? Now...let me declare my affiliation: I am a lifelong Cowboy fan. But I think this is as bad a decision as has been made in years. Worse than the Cowboy's trade for Roy Williams (and that was a real doozy).

Health care is important and I fundamentally agree that provisions need to be made for those unable to afford health insurance. I also agree that there needs to be a fundamental adjustment and reform in hospital pricing and insurance company practices. I'm not convinced that the bill passed addresses the problems in a fundamental and effective manner. However, there is another health care problem that is never addressed. There are a large number of people who are in dire need of dental care and are unable to afford either insurance or dental care. Dental insurance suffers from many of the sa

Wilco - The National - Richmond, VA 3/29/10
Sweet Papa Crimbo replied to itstillmoves84's topic in After The Show
I think Wilco's version of "Thank You Friends" is very well played. However; Chilton was being VERY sarcastic when he wrote that one. Bookending the show with "Wilco (The Song)" is either terribly ironic or very clever. And by the way, from the recordings I have heard of this leg of the tour, I must say I have never heard Jeff is such fine voice. He is REALLY good these days. -
first Posted 26 July 2009 - 12:13 AM amended and edited 1. First Concert, when? Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. May, 1976 is Shreveport Louisiana 2. First Concert you really wanted to go to and did? That would be one and the same as #1 3. Favorite Band? Wilco and the Boss 4. How Many Times have you seen them? Wilco...twice. Springsteen 15 times. 5. Worst concert you attended? Aerosmith on the Draw the Line Tour on the Shreveport stop. Tyler and Perry were so fucking high it was absolutely wretched. I saw them again at the TEXXAS Jam and they were really good. Guess that'

The game I have worked on has been released!
Sweet Papa Crimbo replied to lamradio's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Congratulations...looks good. I have been looking for a really good Civil War/Napoleonic Wars game. Since Talonsoft went belly up and stopped supporting the Battfield games, there has been a real lacking in that market. All the game designers seem to be interested in is first person shooter games or MMORPGs.
