I kinda laughed out loud at reading this. Just saying.

Amazing that such naive belief still finds its roots in America. Hitler and his minions would have used Pastor Arnold's intestines to grease their tank treads. Not sof far fetched...they made lampshades out of the skin of Jews. And while the picture posted below made a WONDERFUL and inspiring photo...the tanks still rolled and people still died...including the man. "Eyewitness reporter Charlie Cole believes that the man was taken away by secret police and was just one of the many executed in the aftermath of the military crackdown, since the Chinese government was never able to produce him

I've been thinking about why I didn't really have as much fun at mmy last Wilco show as I have previously had. I can tie it all to the fucker standing in front of me with his damn iPhone taking crappy video and photo captures. People being running dumb asses lead to tirades from the stage and barring of cameras, audio recorders and cell phones from venues. They can wand the entire audience as they enter and confiscate cell phones (I've seen it done in other situations).

B. B.'s chief virtue is his longevity. It has always been Freddie then Albert then B.B. when talking about the King of the blues. -

I make no comments about the list, but I will note this: Jake Coyle is PAID to supply his opinion. People actually care what he thinks. My point: People who have no professed love for the band or perceived stake in their success think the album is superb. Some of us who freqnent a FAN board think it is drek.

Toadies Just one of THOSE nights TYLER And she runs through her days with a smile on her face And she runs, and she waits, and I wait We can drive to anyplace, day or night, across the state And in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself in Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer I can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bed I can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath! I stumble in the hallway, outside the bedroom door I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice She pulls the covers

What's the consensus on Wilco (The Album)?
Sweet Papa Crimbo replied to Shining Sunbeam's topic in Just A Fan
With the things work around here, the next album will push SBS into classic status and move W(TA) to very good status. Folks are fickle and judemental. -
They're Brits. Chicago means more to them than St. Louis...you know...Al Capone and such. Interesting to see that fact checking is uneven even in the Independent.

Yes, Yes it is. I love how he nonchalantly tosses his guitar up in the air after the solo. -

No...if the performance was better the cover would be better received.

After hearing me talk about Wilco for a couple of years...a young co-worker bought Kicking Television. He told me last week he just picked up W(TA). Providing a good example for the younguns...That's my motto.

Bruce Springsteen is an artist for the AGES. His track record for this decade(his fourth as a major label artist) is simply beyond comparison. Any list of top ten artists of the decade that doesn't include Springsteen is, well, suspect at best.
