  1. Guess I got what I deserve kept you waiting there too long my love All that time without a word did you really think that I'd forget Or I
  2. We met out on open streets when we had no place to go I remember how my heart beat when you said I love you so Then little by little we choked out all the life that our love could hold Oh no It's like we had a noose and baby without check We pulled until it grew tighter around our necks Each one waiting for the other, darlin', to say when Well baby you can meet me tonight on the loose end We didn't count tomorrows, we took what we could and baby we ran There was no time for sorrow, every place we went I held your hand And when the night closed in I was sure your kisses told me all I had to
  3. Jay seems to take himself WAY too seriously to consider a reunion.
  4. Sounds pretty pissed off to me... It ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe If'n you don't know by now An' it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe It'll never do some how When your rooster crows at the break of dawn Look out your window and I'll be gone You're the reason I'm trav'lin' on Don't think twice, it's all right It ain't no use in turnin' on your light, babe That light I never knowed An' it ain't no use in turnin' on your light, babe I'm on the dark side of the road Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say To try and make me change my mind and stay We never did t
  5. I remember dubbing off Murmur onto a cassette for a couple of friends of mine and a professor when I was in Grad school. THAT one did change my life. It might be interesting to put together a list of records that changed our lives...
  6. With the money from her accident She bought herself a mobile home So at least she could get some enjoyment Out of being alone No one could say that she was left up on the shelf Its you and me against the world kid she mumbled to herself When the world falls apart some things stay in place Levi stubbs tears run down his face She ran away from home with her mothers best coat She was married before she was even entitled to vote And her husband was one of those blokes The sort that only laughs at his own jokes The sort that war takes away And when there wasn't a war he left her anyway Norman

  8. I was wearing the white polo and khaki cargo pants standing next to the large man/child dressed in the wiiloc t shirt and shorts.
  9. He was looking to do a bit...get a little video for his website and got more than he bargained for. One word of advice...never, never, NEVER run from guys dress in blue with badges and guns. It never works out well.
  10. I have a big problem with the DMN reporting this. And there was little or no editorial discussion about whether to print it.
  11. Damn but I wish I did torrent (or even understood how to make it work). Suppose it would be really bad form to look for a YSI? I know d-man would dig it
  12. The more I read about this and think about it, the more pissed I get. I ordered my tickets about a month ago by clicking on the link on the Wilcoworld website. What the fuck does a brutha have to do...LOL
  13. Happy Belated Birthday wishes... At one time, I had an internet identity as Suchet Crow.
  14. I don't know...looks like A-rod nutted up and had Varitek in a head lock before he got jumped by the entire Red Sox infield. You guys can compete and fight with each other for the coveted title of most hated baseball franchise for all I care.
  15. Things never change. As relevant when Nixon supporters were saying it in 1973.
  16. I picked D-man up from football practice at 5:00. He was talking a mile a minute (sure sign he was excited). I was excited too, but this ain't my first rodeo. I've been going to shows for well over 30 years. But, this would be my first Wilco show and the first time in a LONG time where I was going to a mid-sized venue with General Admission. With my claustrophobia...well, let's just say I was feeling edgy. He showered, got ready and told me he was ready to go...at 5:30! I figured we'd go get something to eat and check out the scene around the Palladium. For those of you who aren't familiar
  17. I was standing with D-man by the column at stage right. He was grinning from ear to ear till he started yawning around 10:30
  18. My jaw hit the floor...my face still hurts from the big grin. Jeff played the bass on that on and John palyed acoustic. After the song was over (sublime) Jay said it was sent out to John's dad. Added to this treat was Too Far Apart. Pretty damn good night for D-man's first ever rock show.

I would be surprised if either one of them considered themselves such.
  20. Jeff has a near teen son...think they might be fans of the game? You folks GOTTA loosen up.
  21. I thought so. Problem is you folks called him on his crap pretty quickly, so I got a good feeling for his assery from the quoted posts.
