He really is. I feel a particularly close bond to him because he is me made over. I just got back from a nine-day trip to Canada (Lake Louise, Jasper, Banff...fucking awesome) and that was the longest period I have EVER been away from him. Until he was around 5, I bathed him and put him to bed every night. Mom was there (and still is)...but he is UNDOUBTEDLY my son...in every sense of the word.
