  1. So glad you got tix Joyce! I scored two tix in the "DANCE" section. I guess that is main floor?
  2. They just re-ran the episode. I love this song. It is really catchy. The first time I heard it I was just too busy trying to listen to the lyrics. Excellent song! Bravo, Wilco!
  3. I got it and so did my guy. We are both battling a sore throat and stuffy head. I just want to sleep.
  4. Sorry if this was posted before. The Trib has this handy dandy lil tool in Today's paper: How Wilco Did It
  5. Don't care what they play just excited to see them with this gig! That said, Walken is a definite, methinks.
  6. Ms. Yvon is singing her heart out! Very cool!!!!
  7. Nothing at all but LOVE for this band, this man called Tweedy, this city and XRT! I can't say enough about these shows. I got to see Saturday and Monday too - and Each one was amazing for various reasons. The highlights last night for me were: Must Be High, Company in My Back, War on War, Thanks I Get. Hotel AZ, Someday Soon and California Stars. Even Spiders was inspired beyond anything I've seen. I got a poster last night and it will be prominently displayed in my pad as a reminder of this wonderful Wilco residency in the lovely city of Chicago! Whoever was that said this is like se
  8. These photos capture the vibe so well. Thanks for sharing. I just loved them.
  9. Wow, that was fast. Thanks. Last night's show was so damn good. I was in the balcony and wanted to dance but really could not. I did see "pockets" of dancers up & grooving. What I keep asking myself is HOW you could NOT dance to I Got You? Call me crazy....
  10. Thanks for these! They are great!! Love the shot of Nels and Pat. What an amazing show, it might be my favorite ever. I thought it started mellow and crescendoed into a night of magic. Jeff's comment: "This is so much better than unpaid rehearsal...woops!" was hilarious. I never thought I'd hear Wake Up Feeling Old (was that a first time played?)or Hotel Az. This band is so on top of their game right now. And how about Tweedy's solo on Man Who Loves You....he's stepping up his game! The Lonely One was so perfect as a closer - outstanding!!
  11. Some photos, here: http://www.reveillemag.com/features/concer...ack-obama-rally
  12. Thanks, Ms. Y! You are my hero - ticket situation settled!
  13. I need a ticket for Saturday and have one for Friday -- anyone want to swap? PM me please. Thank you, ~A
  14. I NEVER do well in Wilo presales - it's just something odd. I hope to do better today! Oh PLEASE!!!!! I never got tix to see them at the Pritzker but hung out around the venue and was not disappointed. This time that will not work...brrrrrr!! Good luck everyone!
  15. A review by Greg Kot~ [ Wilco turns into a loose, soulful guitar army in Millennium Park homecoming There were moments in recent years when Wilco appeared to be aging gracefully, its concerts proceeding with the refined precision of a middle-aged art-rock band. Pretty, graceful, but somewhat predictable. On one tour, there were even sepia-toned abstract-art videos. That Wilco was nowhere to be found Wednesday at jam-packed Millennium Park, where the sextet played only the fourth major rock concert at the city
  16. Even though we didn't have tickets...we could hear perfectly right outside the venue - it was the best show I never saw and my favorite Wilco show ever! Fave Jeff quote of the night - after he prefaced the encore saying this next batch of songs is going to be early wilco, from about 95-96; he added "This is not late model Wilco!" HAHAHA!!!
  17. If lost highway is still streaming it: http://main.losthighwayrecords.com/product...rt&pid=1693
  18. It's a sweet song to be sure. Listen Joe and Fear of Falling are quite excellent too!
  19. The Golden Age ~ Beck Now That You're Gone ~ Ryan Adams Ballad in Urgency ~ The Black Crowes Debris ~ The Faces Oh Sister ~ Bob Dylan I Will Sing You Songs ~ My Morning Jacket Wendell Gee~ R.E.M. M. Christine, I would have picked all the songs you did as well.
  20. Right on about Dylan. That man is always changing it up. And at this juncture, each time he plays a tune it might sound new. As for Wilco, they don't strike me as the type of band that is going to change the set list up all that much which is fine --on the same tour. But this time around I am hoping to hear more new stuff and some other older songs, maybe some other covers. I'd like to hear New Madrid sometime again soon.
