I think this is a problem with the band in general. I am a fan of all of their albums but there is something about them that just never takes it to the next level. Always good but never great.

Hmm i thought smashing pumpkins were going to play Lolla. I haven't heard anything about Wilco at either of these things.

Buying things from Music Today (the company that runs the wilco store) is probably the biggest joke in the world. 13.25 for shipping to be guaranteed on the release date? 4.75 shipping is the cheapest option which comes over a week after the release date. I think i'll skip the contest (and tote bag) and walk to the record store.

anyone know what the full price was for last year's show? also was the show only two days last year or was it three then as well?

Wow i had no idea Richard Jeni commited suicide. I saw his comedy central special on tv yesterday. He was hilarious.

After further listening I have determined this is better than Eggs. This year is shaping up nicely and this could easily be its best record.

Hmm saw them at the Middle East last winter (500 capacity), was thinking about an Irving Plaza show but I think I'll skip it. The only option I had for shipping on those tickets was 9.75 UPS. I'm not paying 40 bucks to see these guys. There new album is pretty good though.

They actually opened for Wilco this fall I believe. Their album is pretty good. The guy who sings in my band is really good friends with them and thinks they are "on the cusp" of making it. I don't know about that though.

Two listens through I'm thinking this may be true...discuss.

i may be wrong but isnt this a re-release of their first album? update: im wrong, but i can swear i read that in rolling stone (they are this issues "breaking" artist)

maybe im brain farting...maybe i associated having hinges with with being made of wood...like a door...either way, im okay giving them an extra 3 or so bucks because the record is so good
