I don't think Jay "tries" to do too much... I think he just "does" too much.

Works fine for me here just now. Not sure what "link to the site" means exactly, but I was able to click on "wilco archives" and then click on any show to see the files for download.

Well, everything changes and you can't keep doing the same thing forever... but I think that some of the surprises, twists, and turns of Summerteeth and YHF are behind us. AGIB is pretty darn good, but really does miss Jay or some one else to amp it up a bit in parts. I haven't listened to Sky Blue Sky since it came out. It's a good album though. I love Nels, love his playing, love what he does on the songs... but the half of the lyrics just don't appeal to me. Maybe things have become too simplified, and too fun for them that it isn't really a challenge anymore. I know when I hear Radio

I didn't get through either of the songs. Lots of skipping around.

Selling a drumstick probably isn't going to make a very big dent in college debt. It might buy you some food for a week.

I know, but I still can't believe that no one cared however many years ago that they were trying to change the system. And we the consumers are still complaining today about the same practices.

I don't like junk guitars.

Can you make a VW playlist too?

I just think something like YHF was it for me. Perfect in every sense, and I don't know what can really go beyond that feeling for me. The 2 albums since, as wholes, maybe don't have the same impact... although there are great songs on all of their albums. -
Jeff Tweedy, Barack Obama, and some dudes from Third Eye Blind

3EB has a bigger and more dedicated fan base than dare I say Wilco does! http://forums.doodoodootdoodahdootdoo.com/forums/ -
We should just Boo Hiss internet discussion boards when there really isn't anything that important to be discussing. We could spend so much time with animals, with loved ones, or focusing in on things that really matter in our lives, things that might reach a deep fulfillment during our existence on this planet... maybe we could just enjoy the music we like and let it mean to us what it means to us... but instead we spend so much time writing about if the band we like is cool or if some one doesn't like them or if they disappointed us cause they made some money off car commercials so that the

Why does everyone always need positive reinforcement that the band they like is good?

Official statement from HQ on this matter- "Wilco feels pretty okay about hospitals... in fact, some of us have even been to one."

Oh, I damaged them all while flossing.

I live in James' old house. When I went to look at it, he had a really small record collection- one shelf on a tiny bookcase, and just a guitar laying on the floor in front of it. He also left pubes in the bath tub.

It's the building across from the auto service place. They have Volkswagen banners hanging everywhere, so it's hard to differentiate which is the car place and which is the loft, but your ears will guide you.

I bought the compilation just for the song... never listened to the rest of it, but here is Old Maid for you. http://www.sendspace.com/file/r946y0

Needed another guitar player.

Sky Blue Sky is the album that: { fill in the blank }

made the band lots of money via Volkswagen. -
Didn't he play with Ryan Adams too?

Seriously? Really? I wish there were a forum for me to share my thoughts on the matter.

Most people I know with a Volkswagen seem to want to think they are cool, but I think they just wish they could have afforded an Audi or something. They used to be nice cars before they outsourced half the line to mexico for assembly. My dad sells them on his lot, and he is not a fan of their electrical problems (which are well documented and easy to search for).
