This surprised me. I thought it would be Peterson despite him fumbling every other time he touches the ball. Good for Pennington. High time something went well for him.

It is a good thing Texas Tech kind of dropped off the radar before getting all the way to the title game. Mississippi is a lot better than most people think, but Texas Tech looks awful. Apparently all you have to do is blitz and Harrell has no idea what to do.

I had some initial problems with my iPod at around the six or nine month mark. Apple replaced it with a refurb twice in the span of two months. Since then, it has been really going strong. It's ancient now, five years old. And still kicking and still with at least 4-5 hours of battery life. Pretty amazing little machine. It's longevity has restored all of my faith in the iPod brand. I should note - it's a 40GB of the spinning platter variety. If they crap out, you smack the right side against a table or other hard surface to get the arm back in place. Works, so far, every time. And I probabl

Very good, very good. I got past three songs, which is something I haven't been able to do with Noble Beast yet.

Me too. My other top pick would be Silver & Gold.

I assume Amazon is artificially limiting supply to drum up demand? I can't imagine there are that many people out there with 350 dollars to spend on an e-reader quite yet, and I can't imagine Amazon having trouble making millions and millions of these things. Eventually I'll want one, but for now I'm waiting for somebody to do it better and cheaper. The interface seems kind of clumsy and the screen would be better with color.

Well, at least the Bears choked. One good thing to come out of this NFL season.

I should clarify to say that I understand to a degree, but not to the degree to which it is generally lumped on them. At this point, Beach Boy comparisons are a dime a dozen and there are literally hundreds or bands better suited to be stuck with them than Animal Collective.
-
I have never understood the Beach Boys comparisons either. Person Pitch - definitely. Animal Collective - not so much outside of, like you said, the harmonies.
-
Sounds real good so far.

I ghostwrite Spencer's blog.

I'm not about to try to run both Vista and OSX at the same time, so I'd be going the XP route, too.

Rivers should be there over either of those dudes. Favre gets in there because he's Brett Favre. Same reason I got pretty near every Jets game on TV this year. Lame to the max.

Not every collar tackle is a horse collar.

Oops. Wrong spot. Somebody, move this.

I need to use Windows for a job, but I am a Mac user without Boot Camp. Is Parallels any good?
-
Yes. Quite the choke job by the Panthers down the stretch. But a very good game, indeed. And we might get it again in four weeks.

Doesn't this kind of violate net neutrality? Slowing down internet access to some users who are suspected of sharing music?
-
My guess is 9:30 or somewhere around then.

He is right. Completely unrealistic, but right.

Apple taking over the world...

Sucks, Moe. I have had absolutely no problems* in going on two years. Outside of updates and that sort of thing, I've never even had to restart the computer. Is your Macbook one of the newer aluminum ones? I have heard that they have some issues, but not like what you are describing. *with performance. My case is cracked on the bottom a bit and my screen flickers unless I have the brightness set to a certain level.
