QUOTE (cryptique) Matt Gonzalez is Ralph Nader
-
He was a lawyer prior to being a supervisor, he still is and has been fighting civil rights cases. Gonzalez& Leigh Matt has said that he wanted to step out of electoral politics for a small time. This is one of the biggest reasons I like him, I think its important that political offices are held by citizens, not an elite ruling class. Members of the community should step up to the plate of elected office and then step back. I'm sure Matt has learned a lot from Ralph over the past few months and as I said: I don't think this is the last we will see of Matt Gonzalez. As for the gr

What is there in Obama's voting record or his stances that give you hope for the future? He is just bringing a new face to the same US imperialism that we've always had. You can laugh at who wrote the articles, but the information doesn't lie. There is no CHANGE, the only change will be popular support for more of the same bullshit.

Why don't you respect Matt? And Matt actually ran an extremely tight race agaisnt SF mayor Gavin Newsome, I think his career is only beginning.

I think ten bucks is a lot of money to pay for a record... any record. But if you haven't heard Brownsville girl, well the lyrics are worth the price of admission. but thats about it.

Debs is an American legend for sure, but Nader too has quite a legacy. I'm not trying to argue by the way, just have a discussion. And that information was for anyone to comment on. I guess I just find it hard to believe that most Americans actually support Obama's platform or are aware of his history as a senator.

Eugene Debs was a great man. I don't understand how he was any more serious then Ralph Nader. What Do They Have To Do To Loose Your Vote By Matt Gonzalez This was just published, Matt is Nader's running mate. After reading that and this: The Obama Craze By Matt Gonzalez, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a reason Ralph Nader isn't a much a needed alternative.

I hope this is a joke. What Do They Have To Do To Loose Your Vote By Matt Gonzalez

Well you wouldn't know but Every Grain of Sand is one of his best songs. You probably didn't make it "Brownsville Girl" on Knocked Out Loaded either. Perhaps you passed on "Dark Eyes", "Tight Connection" scared you away? I'm trying hard to think of a Dylan record that didn't have at least one classic.

I'd be curious to hear everyone else's favorite periods. Me, I love Spring of 77, 1969, 72-74

I never understood the whole "comeback thing" i mean self portrait, thats it, what other sub par release? As you said New Morning is a great record and the two prior to self portrait were great as well. It's not like Dylan chose to release "Dylan" or that "Pat Garrett" is really an album.

To Whom It May Concern: That blog "jollyjoke" looks like it is going to get canned, so if you want anything it looks like nows the time.

The magic of the double "Forever young" totally lost on the cd version. Also love the "Never Say Goodbye". I remember hearing a story about Bob being at a party at Joni Mitchell's house and she was about to release "Court And Spark" and Dylan was releasing "Planet Waves". Joni claims Dylan fell asleep listening to "Court And Spark", the rest of the crowd I guess gave it a luke warm reception. After Dylan played "Planet Waves" he was lavished with praise. Apparnetly this really upset Joni, who felt her record was a more inventive, where as she saw Planet Waves as more of the same. T

I'd say its pretty clear what his agenda is: tax cut for the middle class (keeps em quiet). Leave 50,000 troops in Iraq, move the rest to Afganhistan, possible war with Iran Contiune to turn a blind eye to israel Begin drilling off shore Nuclear Power

Just herd it through the grapevine that Merl Saunders is in the hospital and will probably not be leaving. Very sad news.

If Obama was actually a socialist like McCain likes to keep saying, that would be appropriate. But as he's not..............

I was listening to that the other day and although it is a bit rough, thats what i like to hear in rhythm guitar on dead songs. Jackie's playing is too static, fine for his own material but not so much my cup of tea with the dead. BTW I was walking around the neighborhood where I work in Chicago and come across this pink house, with green trim and a garage out back. The garage had four 5 foot bears on the back and tombstone painted on it that said "RIP Jerry'. Quite cool.

His previous book is called Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the 2004 Election and Why They’ll Steal the Next One Too. Great interview. If you try to watch the video link or mp3 you have to skip ahead about 8-10 mins to get to the interview.
