  1. I'd agree but there is no reason people shouldn't be able to view it.
  2. I Won't Even Attempt Explaining..... its just awful and odd.
  3. Its a documentary, its been seen, and everyone more or less has herd about the worst details contained in the film. This stuff is history, Paul needs to get over the embarrassment (or whoever is preventing the release and let it go). Its almost childish.
  4. Sure does. I asked the same question over on the phil zone and a few people mentioned how they wish there were more 85 shows. Both of those sound good.
  5. RIP I only have "grab this" which also features joe pass, great little record.
  6. So, I'll come clean. I don't own much 80's dead. So I'm looking for a recommendation. Which dicks picks is best representative of 80's dead and which do you feel has the best jamming. thanks, matt
  7. Well at least the tapers have their heads on straight.
  8. Or buy him some more of the dope hes been smoking what condition is it in?
  9. Could be, I was just interested in hearing more of jerry's pedal steel. Any recommendations on particular live tracks with him playing the pedal live?
  10. where have you herd this? I was kind of thinking this was gonna happen; a huge buzz kill to say the least.
  11. I just recently started listening to the New Riders Of The Purple Sage stuff on the archive. Anyone have any recommendations? Any opinions on their best set with Garcia?
  12. anyone watching tonight's show? Here is the link: http://iclips-festival-live-lr.wm.llnwd.ne...estival_live_lr
  13. I wonder if this is the same footage that has been circulating. If I remember it was like home video cameras, there was also footage of bill walton and maybe ken kessey walking through a pyramid.
  14. So did I but I think there was a cd you get if you bought off of phillesh.com or something to that effect. TONIGHT THOUGH! Live from All Good, Phil Lesh And Friends. I only caught two shows this summer (chicago and milwaukee) chicago was amazing, milwaukee was just alright. I'd say its worth taking the chance and watching the show tonight though Scofeild played earlier in the day and warren haynes is playing late night, i'd say there is a good chance that one or the other sits in. You can view the stream at iclips.net they have much improved their broadcasts since the dead heads f
  15. if you aren't already aware: url="http://arts.ucsc.edu/Gdead/AGDL/"]The Annotated Grateful Dead[/url] I have spent hours on there.
  16. Just found out about this show with Bob Weir, Rob Wasserman, Ramblin Jack Elliot. I've only listened to one track but its way better then any recent ratdog. It's up at http://www.ratdog.org/ on the front page. It's awesome.
  17. The film was actually called Fallen Angel for those interested.
  18. The layout sounds a bit like the Green Mill (with the bathrooms esp., so awkward). I think I'm going to go check out lou donaldson in august. Alfonso Ponticelli & Swing Gitan would also be worth checking out for anyone who hasn't seen them yet (although its 4 dollars cheaper when they play the mill), great gypsy jazz.
  19. I highly recommend the documentary "Grievous Angel", a great overview of Gram.
  20. I actually think some of Phil's stuff holds up really well on disc, especially the scofeild stuff and the Cambell/Sless/Osby/Molo/Osborne lineup. I also listen to parts of the trey/page/kimcock/molo shows quite a bit.
  21. It's a long shot but does anyone have any extras for this show? Shoot me a pm.
