man thats pretty disappointing, but I guess an hour with Ornette is better then none at all.
-
I have a feeling it will be crowded for the first half hour or so then it will thin out. Are headliners only getting an hour or are they going till 10? I am super excited for tonight.
-
hey lou did that have the fence up blocking seats or could you just mosey on up like last year?
-
well i think im gonna try to get down by 5:45-6ish hope i land a decent view. This promises to be good. has anyone hear seen rollins recently?
-
I know sonny is big and all but do you think its going to be that crowded?
-
If i rember correctly i though herd someone say something about ed o'brien and phil selway working with members of wilco on someone else's record can't remember whose though.

Didn't jeff have the same problem when they went on prior to the chili peppers?
-
I don't know about "fine". I mean regardless of the performance I felt like Tweedy was in a weird mood. I know there have been plenty of times where he gets "mad" on stage and usually its all in good fun. There was a minute or two during Spiders were I got the impression that he was pissed (hand clapping segment). I haven't rewatched the set yet though, so maybe I was just high.

Don't even get me started on what musicians "could" be doing. ETA: not to mention promoters. and by promoters I mean live nation.

I did indeed go to lolla and for the first time left a wilco show feeling underwhelmed. Wilco's live sets are what got me hooked. Lately I feel they've gotten a bit stale. I wouldn't have to think twice about seeing jeff, nels or glenn solo but like I said the wilco live show seems to have gotten a bit stale.

I'm probably speaking for myself, but opening for Neil (or Tom or Bob) would be one of the only things to get me out to see wilco right now.

I have resisted seeking out "Sunny Feeling" but as for "One Wing" the lyrical content seemed to be the weak end of of things; this was also my biggest problem with Sky Blue Sky. I also sometimes wonder how much "road testing" is actually going on. The Sky Blue Sky tunes haven't seemed to have changed much from their debut to their release (as for the songs with older origins I am referring to their re induction). Same goes for quite a few other bands that claim to be trying them out on the road. It seems like more of a "testing of the waters" then a creative process thing. If a ban

already did.

There is no shame in opening for Neil Young. I find it hard to imagine Tweedys ego is big enough to say he would open for neil as long as it wasn't in his home town.

dismal is really harsh. Though it was the first word that came to mind. I do like the album a lot more as time has passed. Still not hopeful for Wilco material. As for some Loose Fur....

ahhhhh, the irony. This is a decent effort, but i wonder how effective it will actually be. I suspect americans are too scared of each other to actually take part. If wilco or other bands could offer free parking in exchange for filled cars, I think there would be a greater incentive and in turn make it a hell of a lot more effective. If you haven't checked out what Radiohead have been doing on there latest tour you should read this. There are several entries on how Radiohead is making their sound and lighting system more environmentally friendly. I've herd no plastic bottles

Hmmmm............. Cant say I was too impressed with "One Wing" at lolla. I think I'm going to try and wait till the record comes out to hear the material. Hopefully this isn't as dismal as "Sky Blue Sky" was.

awesome ETA: By the way, Wilco doesn't hold a candle to Radiohead.

tickets are ranging from 250-50. Correct me if I'm wrong but I prior to the last tour, I thought Neil used to keep his prices a bit lower. My memory could be hazy but I remember paying under 80 (maybe even 60) dollars on the greendale tour, granted that was 5-6 years ago. ETA: General admission tickets will be prices at $75.00 with reserved stand tickets ranging in price from $45.00 to $250.00 (plus all applicable service charges). Acorrding to this this wilco is not playing chicago. I'd imagine Wilco probably has another set of Chicago shows booked for somewhere in between No

Taking a toke and listening to standing on the moon from 1993/12/10 "i'd rather be with you"

Man, I've been so wrapped up in my own shit, I never even realized. But as I think of something to write a chill comes to my spine; I miss you Jerry. "I wish there was a song to sing to bring you back......."

wow.

I hope this is better then Jukebox. Also hope its a little less on the pop side of things. I really like "the greatest" but I don't think it comes close to her best work ("What Would The Community Think" "Moon Pix" or "You Are Free").

this is a typical setlist from the 2004 tour, i happened to see this one. Road To Nowhere, The Great Intoxication, Finite = Alright, The Other Side Of This Life, I Zimbra, And She Was, Once In A Lifetime, Un Di Felice Eterea, Ausencia, Tiny Apocalypse, Psycho Killer, U.B. Jesus, Like Humans Do, Dialog Box, What A Day That Was, Blind, Desconocido Soy, Life During Wartime I think he is going to be playing material which was produced with brian eno (3 heads albums, my life in the bush of ghosts, and the new one).
