My real name is Speedoo but they often call me Mister Earl.

I miss cahtzee. Happy birthday!

I voted. Even though my first name is not Christine, my second name is and that, or a variation of that, is what folks call me. I have wondered at the preponderance of Chrises and Jenns on VC myself.

The SF skyline is barely visible through the trees.

The only time I played this was north of the San Francisco bay on Mt. Tamalpais. My brother in law had been playing there since high school. It was one of the most fun days I've ever had. There was no pot smoking but beers were consumed at certain traditional holes. Drinking during the day is not good for my constitution so I did not partake.

So gersh and doubter are my heroes today. Thank you. Plunket's voice puts the serious hurt on this girl.

Brianne those photos are spectacular! Man, I'd love to travel up there one day.

On road trips I like Starbucks drive thru for a quality iced green tea.

Here's the thing, as an individual I do as much as I can to behave in environmentally sound ways. In my lifetime I have personally planted hundreds of trees, thousands of green plants and gardens. The acre I live on is an oasis for a billion tiny lives who live without fear of chemicals. I live in a small house, as energy efficient as I can make it. I vote as wisely as I can. I have an old friend who used to say, "Humans have always lived in the most dangerous of times." I don't think I have a false sense of security, nor do I live in fear. Both seem rather naive.

Wow, an interesting collection of midwestern pilgrims to the great northeast next month. Yay!

In an odd turn of events, I will also be there.

I just got tickets for Sarah and I to see his show in KC. Sarah is uh, a little excited.

So I am actually listening to this band for the first time, Black Sheep Boy and this one. I know, I know. Is this a band one should see live? They are playing one of my favorite tiny clubs in a couple of months. What say you long time fans?
