lost highway
Yeah this thing is on! thats sweet. I seriously doubt the September release claims though. Nonesuch hasnt even mentioned it on their site, and I doubt they would release it a few weeks from now without turning the hype machine a little. Lets cross our fingers for fall. Preferred B
http://wilcoworld.net/news/index.php October 24th, looks like.
froggie
looks like it'll be a goodie... Nonesuch Records will release Sunken Treasure: Live in the Pacific Northwest, a performance DVD by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, on October 24. The disc includes performances and conversations gathered over five nights on Tweedy
LouisvilleGreg
Not to gripe, and indeed I'm very excited, but there's only about fifteen songs slated. Even the short solo shows are 20-22 songs. Perhaps all of the interview and behind scenes type footage will make up for the low number of songs.

Dreamin'
One night, Jeff made a reference to Don't Look Back and then he said that this tour DVD should be called, "Don't Look."

jhh4321
So it sounds like they will be releasing audio tracks as downloads? This could be a plus, a studio quality live tweedy solo album. This DVD release should be a good one.

gogo
So who might we see up front at the stage's edge in this DVD? M Chris, Maudie... Who else? Not me, I hope! I had a pretty good spot at the Fillmore, but I think there has to be better footage out there than anything with me in it. There was a pack of VCers who hit most of these shows, though, so I would imagine that one or two of them will pop up.
sligg
i finally might get to see the abyss! when i got up on stage at the fredericton show to annouce the kingpin audience participation i whispered to jeff as i was leaving "where is this abyss that i keep hearing about"...he chuckled and said "i don't hear that anymore"
Dreamin'
I'm like the Sean Penn of Wilco audience members. Except I shriek like a little girl and run away instead of punching the person with the camera.

Except I shriek like a little girl and run away instead of punching the person with the camera. I'm surprised that you have time to fit in a wilco show, what with your fixing the Katrina aftermath, ripping Parker and Stone, "recording the human face" of the Iraqi people, punching reporters, praying in Iran and comparing weeping vaginas with Cindy Sheehan... how DO you fit it all in???
