I was reading this great article in Exclaim - the New York Dolls Timeline and it was absolutely fascinating. Stuff I never knew, like: 'The Heartbreakers bring two things to the UK with them: Nancy Spungen, and heroin; as part of the Sex Pistols Edited August 21, 2006 by lizish

poonkorama
Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra La La Band - "Horses in the Sky" Looks like they've steered away from the super-long post-rock album title and opted for a super-long band name instead. Welsh Rich
Yup - that is the one and only time I shall listen to the album... it's a big pile of steaming turd... I'm convinced the second track was done by Gary Glitter back in the 70's... Just to clear the palate then:

Mrs. Peel
The Crane Wife I'm pretty hooked on this thing. I wasn't going to see them on the fall tour because I didn't think the album would be out when they came through. Once I grabbed it though..... I'm glad the Northampton MA show doesn't seem to be too popular yet, I was still able to get GA tickets right in front of the stage and in front of all the assigned theater seating.
