Hummingbird Tongues

Recommended Posts

Luckily I only got stung 3 times in 3 years, which for Hawaii isn't too bad. The first time was the worst because I had no idea what was going on - the thing got my left shoulder and I started flailing around like an idiot. Which helped for about two seconds, until it landed again on my right shoulder. I thought I was having a stroke.

My friend Jeff once popped up after being hit by a decent size wave with one attached to his upper leg/crotch region. It was funny, though I guess not so much for him.

We have these nasty little wooly looking things down here in Tennessee they call "Cow Killers" It's a type of flight-less wasp that look like those wooly red and black catepillars you see. Supposedly called cow killers because their sting is so severe. I had a kid at an outward-bound type thing pick one up (after I told him not to) and bam, it got him on the thumb. True story here....within a minute his entire hand was swelling up like in a cartoon and that kid was crying and screaming like no tomorrow.

Someone falls in a manhole, it's comedy.

If I fall in a manhole, it's a tragedy.

Whereabouts did you get lost? You weren't anywhere near Mission Viejo, were you?

They moved my exit (main st) on the 22. I figured I'd get off on the next exit. Construction everywhere. Got lost by City Park Dr.

W.A.S.P > Man-O-War

I must respectfully disagree. Whoever played bass for Man-O-War totally shredded on their cover of the William Tell Overture. Plus, wasn't one of the guys from The Dictators in that band?

Blackie Lawless, on the otherhand, was a grade-A tool. Aside from the sawblade schtick, which was boss.

You're probably right, but I have to go download Blind in Texas and find some pictures of a BC Rich Warlock anyway.

Dog the Bounter Hunter got arrested and is being sent to Mexico to stand trial on charges of kidnapping or something.

There will be plenty of ice in paradise until he gets back on the job. :hmm

That's B.S. brah.

I can't believe our own US Marshals would arrest him and extradite him to Mexico for bringing back that one rapist dude. Complete B.S.
