NightOfJoy
No 80s list would be complete with such great bands as the Thompson Twins, Haircut 100 and Bananarama. Ok, I'm just kidding. No, really, I am. Hold on, I just thought of one.......the debut album by The Sugarcubes....that one was pretty interesting if you can ignore the male singer....Bjork is pretty damn weird though, which is good. wheelco
some good discs listed here, and at least the 80's gave me REM, but I already have as many 21st century discs as 80's, and definitely way more 70's and 90's probably equally as many 60's . . .

Ya know, I dont think I have any discs from this decade. I think I gotta stop collecting vinyl, boots and field recordings and get with the times.

tongue-tied
Even Cut the Crap? that was, er, not a true Clash album.
wheelco
well, I think it was 1989 at least
MrRain422
that was, er, not a true Clash album. I know. But, I mean, at the time it was considered to be. The band didn't even officially dissolve for another two years after its release. It's not a Clash album, but the Clash are all still responsible for its existence. Anyway, yeah, all the real Clash albums do fucking rule.

This one too! I saw the Furs play at the "tripping fields" at SUNY New Paltz when I was in 10th grade. Forever Now had just come out. The field was very muddy. I saw an English teacher at our school smoking a fatty. And the band was incredible. I miss those guys. I can't believe it...not one mention of Frankie Goes To Hollywood "Welcome To The Pleasure Dome"That album pretty much sums up the 80's for me...I liked that album. I used to walk around the halls of my high school with it on my very first Sony Walkman.
