PigSooie
Wow, Bulls with the no. 1 pick. Think the fix is in? I am sure that either of the two will improve the Bulls, but I'm not convinced that either is as good as people think. Derrick Rose coming home?

bobbob1313
I hope so. I don't want anything to do with that other thug. Why is Beasley a thug? The Bulls taking Rose would be great for the Heat.

To the point where I don't even think there should be a discussion.
Gobias Industries
That's the way the ping-pong ball falls. But how exactly was Minnesota "shafted"? The lottery operated exactly the way it's supposed to. Of course it's the luck of the draw/ping pong ball drops, but honestly the Bulls shouldn't have been ANYWHERE near the Top 3, let alone the top pick. I've been a Bulls guy since I was a kid, but for real. Plus, of all the teams, I really think the Timberwolves would have benefited the most from a 1-2 slot.

He was like "lot of good this sick kid's teddy bear did me" as he sort of defeatedly dropped the bear to his side.

Yeah, he went from "I get a 1/2 pick!" to "Fuck this shit, I don't care about sick kids anymore." It was sad. And if the Spurs squander the only chance they'll get where Kobe is under (what looks to be) 25-30 points, the Spurs are seriously going to lose this series hardcore. bjorn_skurj
The Lakers are making SA look kinda bad so far. It's not just Kobe - Odom is awesome, and the triangle offense is Buddhist basketball perfection.

fatheadfred
That's nice news about the Celtics! I feel like i'm back in college again with the whole Celtics/Lakers thing. 5th grade for me, those were some great B ball days. The kids for the Lakers, the old man cheering for the Celtics. Generational battle. Not so much like that now, but still looking forward to it. Hope the Celtics stay awake for all 4 quarters. Kobe is the best player in the history of the NBA. I haven't kept up on Bball much, usually just watch the playoffs. How is Kobe better than Jordan?
