oceanman
What's that guys name from Zero,Jerry Garcia was his life mentour. Why can't I think of his name? A-Man's got it for sure, what the hell is his name?....................................... Oh yeah,Steve Kimmock.I saw him play with Trey once and he completely blew him away. Guest tandylacker
I've always been very intrigued by a lot of what Brian May plays. Especially from Queen's more popular songs. He made his own guitars, his own sound and has it patented. The guy knew what he was doing. Jimi Hendrix obviously deserves a lot of credit too given that he was playing the way he did in the 60s. mountain bed
James Marshall Hendrix. End of story. No one can really argue that There's a little difference between "greatest" & 'favorite' to me though.Hendrix,Steve Howe,John McLaughlin,Zappa,Beck are no doubt fantastic, but I'll always be a JG guy all the way down the line. HighFives
i didn't much like good news. but i'm REALLY excited about this album. just the concept of having the guitarist from one of my favorite bands in another of my favorite bands is mindblowing. I had that feeling when Nels joined Wilco. also when O'Rourke joined SY. oh and PRINCE (not that he joined up with any one just that he is an amazing guitarist)
Kalle
George Harrison? I don't even have a favourite guitarist but if I did have to choose it would be the three main guitarists in Wilco (past and present). Jeff, Nels and Jay.

mpolak21
David Rawlings, of course Outside of David, Nels, Wes Montgomery, Neil Young and Lloyd and Verlaine (who I already saw mentioned), I really like Ronald Jones a lot, formerly of the Flaming Lips, Stephen Malkmus and then Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel. --Mike
