street spirit
Yup. Damn elitists. Oh well, at least I snagged it before it was removed. care to YSI that then? I assume it would be kosher here, since there's no way it'll end up as a commercial release.
Smokestack Joe
i also Warren Peace is really good! i like the first 4 songs. say what you want....ryan adams has fun making music, he comes under a lot of scrutiny, self-made or otherwise, but he keeps it loose and fun. i dig it. imsjry
What a steaming pile of shit. What, your post?? There are two more albums up now. Called "Sad Dracula". More "song" oriented than the rest of the stuff.
Golden Smoghead
I really think his abuse of the f-word is pretty amusing. I dig Jesus H. Christmas.

Jesusetc84
I wonder if Adams kept a reciept when he bought his own hype. He may want a refund.
bjorn_skurj
Is this a form of mental illness, putting out all these songs? Dude needs an editor.
Guest Speed Racer
He has fewer songs than we do posts, and it appears he doesn't take much longer to write them. So, dude's just getting by the same as us. Can't blame him.

Orkie
They say if you start digging from the U.S., you will eventually hit China. I guess if Ryan releases enough material, he might eventually rip himself off instead of every other band in existence.

Is this a form of mental illness, putting out all these songs? Dude needs an editor. They say if you start digging from the U.S., you will eventually hit China. I guess if Ryan releases enough material, he might eventually rip himself off instead of every other band in existence. People criticised him before all this came out for putting out every fart that he recorded, and now when he pretty much does release it all and people think he's actually being serious?!? "I read a review of a show where he was an asshole to some guy who kept calling him Bryan (great joke, might by a ticket to his show just so I can do that to him, see if he's a prick to me too), so it must mean he's a humourless, arrogant prick all the time and that every song he releases is a complete rip-off of someone else and that Adams thinks each is the greatest song ever, man..." DawgSong
To each their own.I dig RA's material, and especially the past few year's live showswith the Cards. IMO, he is a great songwriter. As far as the 8-10 "albums" on the website......HUMOR and having aGood Time doing so. He hasn't taken much of the industry seriouslyand it shows with these tunes. Keep on doing what ya do Ryan. He may not be a "prolific" writer or I guess I mean ...some have statedhe is in a creative phase...I do like the fact he tosses new songs out therelive all the time. Many times written the night before, heck toss it out thereand see where it may go. Some work, some don't. IMO, it's a refreshing change of pace from some bands (performers) who areoverly meticulous with song structure and presentation before putting it out therefor us. I saw the 2 back-to-back RA & The Cards shows at The Tab in ATL last year. No songs repeatedand each night the "feel" of the performance were totally different. I would like to havea little more of the attitude with another of my favorite bands.

brianjeremy
can someone just post a list of what the good songs are, puh-leez Come Pick Me Up is an amazing song. He was a fairly good batting average when it comes to his songs in comparison to Robert Pollard (a much more prolific song writer).
napoleon
i agree with brianjeremy. and also, theres nothing more amazing than a live electric version of dear chicago.

Campaigner
Another thing on those who say he releases too much stuff. What would you prefer, someone who put out an album every four-five years and have every song be great, or someone who puts out 1-2 albums a year where maybe 60% of the songs are great? I know I'd take the latter anyday... As long as we get the killer tunes, who cares how much is padded around it? RA is like a lot of other people where his fans cannot agree at all as to what the best and worst songs are on any given album, so maybe it's best he releases it all and keeps us happy
