hawthorne
If you had to choose between Wilco's first three albums (AM, Being There, and Summerteeth) or Wilco's most current three albums (Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, A Ghost is Born, and Sky Blue Sky) which would you take? I'll take YAS over ABS.
rwrkb
i'd have to go for the last three for sure. but the only one i don't listen to regularly is A.M.
TheMaker
The first three, I think. As great as they are, I can't help seeing A.M., AGIB and SBS as mixed bag records. The other three are singular and thoroughly wonderful.

tongue-tied
i'd take AGIB over the other five, though that's hardly fair to the one I haven't heard yet. so i'll pick the latter to cover my bases.
froggie
first 3 for me
Aeglos
last three, by a country mile
cryptique
I'm just happy that this is a hypothetical situation and I don't have to make such a choice.
Papillon Parade
YAS for me...although I certainly don't have anything against the other three.
quarter23cd
I'd listen to only the demos, to keep it real. Demos of the demos, in fact.
isadorah
i'd take yankee hotel foxtrot, being there, and sky blue sky, oh but wait that splits of the trio groupings...

Basil II
these really should be gouped in twos....... AM and BT ST and YHF (my favorite) and AGIB w/SBS -Robert.
you ever seen a ghost?
the last three for me for sure. i love Summerteeth dearly, but i don't really care for AM or Being There, excepting a few songs that is. -justin
tongue-tied
it's really four albums against three.
quarter23cd
it's really four albums against three.AM has ganged up with Golden Smog and the ghost of Woody Guthrie and is waiting behind the dumpsters to rumble with the others after school.
musicsherlock
BT, ST, YHF and who says a circle has only one center?
TheMaker
We should do this fairly. We'll group the albums by quality, starting with the top tier of BT, YHF and ST, all sterling and perfect in their own respective ways. Then we'll have the "okay" group, consisting of AGIB and SBS. A.M. can hang back and enjoy the show. It's "special."
