Duck-Billed Catechist
Ortiz Not Sure If He Never Used Steroids8th May, 2007 - 12:40 pmBoston Herald - David Ortiz isn't 100 percent sure he has never used steroids, but if he did, it was when he was much younger. "I tell you, I don
MrRain422
Almost makes a person wonder of he's prepping for some bad PR that's about to come out. Completely irresponsible speculation on my part. Also, if he did steroids, I don't really care.
Duck-Billed Catechist
I've always said he and Thome look like they're juiced on HGH to me--and that they're less likely to come under scrutiny because they're nice guys or whatever.
yankhotelfox
I'm watching this game at work now, and this broadcast is absolutely ridiculous. These clowns haven't talked about the game for like 20 minutes, and they won't take the camera off the hot girls. Is this what Marlins broadcasts are always like? Paris....you're from Bristol????? I've seen a few CT people on here but no one from that close. Feel free to send a PM and say hello.
MattZ
Teams have given up on future stars since the game has been around, but the Twins certainly had no idea that Ortiz would turn out to be the absolute monster that he is. Again, this is ridiculous and irresponsible speculation, but Ortiz has to be in the category of "I wonder if..." along with so many others. This is the real shame of the steroids age. Even if guys like Ortiz and Thome are completely innocent, people will always wonder.
caliber66
Oh, fuck that dude. He's a fucking bum who lied about his elbow injury. Fuck him right in his ass.I didn't really feel that bad for him, but when he gave up the Lowell HR, he looked like someone had just pushed him down on the playground and stolen his lollipop. darkstar
I didn't really feel that bad for him, but when he gave up the Lowell HR, he looked like someone had just pushed him down on the playground and stolen his lollipop. He looked even better after Varitek took him deep right after that

parisisstale
That guy has won 2 World Series rings during the Yankees recent championship drought. Didn't say he wasn't a excellent and clutch pitcher, but where was all this Bonds talk when Curt was in front of Congress. He only shuts up when it counts.
ction
Maybe. But he's definitely won 2 World Series rings during this recent Yankees championship drought.

parisisstale
Ok, I sincerely apologize. I take back everything I've ever said about the guy. I wish I could say I was misquoted, but I can't. Long live Schilling!
Lammycat
Little known fact: Schilling's got a big ol' cake hole. Decent pitcher, though.
bjorn_skurj
I didn't really feel that bad for him, but when he gave up the Lowell HR, he looked like someone had just pushed him down on the playground and stolen his lollipop.1. He doesn't DESERVE a lollipop.2. With thanks to Armando Benitez.

MattZ
there are few things more enjoyable in life for a Mets fan than watching Armando Benitez blow a game while pitching on another team.

caliber66
Okay, first of all, it should be "Thou canst not touch this!" or "Thou canst touch this not!" and that "be" is totally extraneous. Somebody's trying too hard.
Sir Stewart
Wake's 75 mile per hour fastball may be enough to trick a batter, but I feel bad for the Jimmy Fund, which gets $75 for the "fastest pitch of the inning" tonight.
Lammycat
Nice to see Wakefield get a bit of run support for a change tonight, though.
