Welsh Rich
Rich, that vinyl your buddy has is called Rated X, and is actually quite rare: http://www.discogs.com/release/487593 my fave is still the self-titled by far Cool... knew it was a limited release but didn't realise it was that rare. solace
Cool... knew it was a limited release but didn't realise it was that rare.i've only had one chance to buy it in the past and it was $45 (it goes for more than that on eBay) i would have bought it but even though it was supposedly "new", it was dinged up pretty badly
Welsh Rich
I had been keeping an eye out for it, just in case I happened upon it in a record shop. Alas, no such luck and by the sounds of it, I now know why! NP:

Chendizzle
Ten Readings of a Warning / All Smiles How you feelin about this? I think the standout track is Moth in a Cloud of Smoke (which I love), but nothing else seemed very immediate.
tongue-tied
How you feelin about this? I think the standout track is Moth in a Cloud of Smoke (which I love), but nothing else seemed very immediate. I like it, I'm glad how natural it sounds (just guitar, piano, drums), he didn't go for a huge production or Grandaddy like soundscaping which I think was wise, sounds like someone trying to get their songwriting legs. "Moth..." is really good, "I Know It's Wrong" was the one that surprised me the most, the piano and drums are pretty damn catchy. Overall I wouldn't call it brilliant, but I've already gone through it three times today and might again, it has it's charm.
