Grace
My English class just got finished with Romeo and Juliet and for a project my teacher said to make a soundtrack of 10 songs minimum that we think would fit well if you were to put them with the play. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for maybe some wilco songs or anything else that might work. So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Lammycat
Good list from A-man. Besides the Dire Straits tune, another obvious might be Lou Reed's "Romeo had Juliet" off of New York.

H.Stone
Analogman prefers King Lear. I'm probably going to spend an unhealthy amount of time psychoanalyzing that preference.
Analogman
Although - Analogman did not really study much Shakespeare during his college years.

Lammycat
That's the perfect clip to accompany it, too. The "gave my love a chicken that had no bone" part cracks me up every time.

winter party person
I played Romeo my sophomore year and my director had me come up with some songs that I felt represented my character. I chose Heavy Metal Drummer, which beautifully captures the essence of being young and in love. I also think On and On and On, and Exit Music by Radiohead are fitting
