Sir Stewart
NEW YORK - Judgment day arrived for baseball's steroids era, with the Mitchell report set to be released and posted on the Internet for all to see. The first name to emerge Thursday was seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens. ESPN.com reported that Brian McNamee, a former trainer for the Yankees and Clemens, said information he gave Mitchell on supplying the pitcher with steroids is in the report. The Web site, citing an unidentified source close to the trainer, said McNamee told investigators he supplied Clemens with steroids. Randy Hendricks, Clemens' agent, did not immediately return a message seeking comment. "Of all the dramatic things I have ever seen..."
ZenLunatic
Right, I meant that the players would be in a rush to sign. Yes for the ones that did the steroids. The clean ones have nothing to worry about.
MrRain422
Yes for the ones that did the steroids. The clean ones have nothing to worry about. Yeah, I was talking about the 11 free agents who will be named in the report.
ZenLunatic
Luckily Clemens is pretty much done with his career. Was he gonna come back again this year? So should we start to put * on all Clemens records now?
bobbob1313
So should we start to put * on all Clemens records now? No, just like we shouldn't do it to Bonds'. I've long since suspected Clemens was on roids. That's not surprising at all. Here's a list I've seen floating around, for what it's worth: "Brady Anderson, Manny Alexander, Rick Ankiel, Jeff Bagwell, Barry Bonds, Aaron Boone, Rafaeil Bettancourt, Bret Boone, Milton Bradley, David Bell, Dante Bichette, Albert Belle, Paul Byrd, Wil Cordero, Ken Caminiti, Mike Cameron, Ramon Castro, Jose and Ozzie Canseco, Roger Clemens, Paxton Crawford, Wilson Delgado, Lenny Dykstra, Johnny Damon, Carl Everett, Kyle Farnsoworth, Ryan Franklin, Rich Garces, Jason Grimsley, Troy Glaus, Juan Gonzalez, Eric Gagne, Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Giambi, Jeremy Giambi, Jose Guillen, Jay Gibbons, Juan Gonzalez, Clay Hensley, Jerry Hairston, Felix Heredia, Jr., Darren Holmes, Wally Joyner, Darryl Kile, Matt Lawton, Raul Mondesi, Mark McGwire, Guillermo Mota, Robert Machado, Damian Moss, Abraham Nunez, Trot Nixon, Jose Offerman, Andy Pettitte, Mark Pior, Neifi Perez, Rafael Palmiero, Albert Pujols, Brian Roberts,Juan Rincon, John Rocker, Pudge Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, Scott Schoenweiis, David Segui, Alex Sanchez, Gary Sheffield, Miguel Tejada, Julian Tavarez, Fernando Tatis, Maurice Vaughn, Jason Varitek, Ismael Valdez, Matt Williams and Kerry Wood." No real suprises on that list, but say it ain't so, Jay Gibbons.

bobbob1313
Juan Gone musta been extra juiced, for his name to appear twice. Troy Glaus appeared twice too, but I caught it. I guess I just figured nobody would question Juan.

No real suprises on that list, but say it ain't so, Jay Gibbons. Yeah I was kidding about the *. I hate the *. I have complained extensively about it here somewhere. Some of those names have already admitted to use that I know of. -Rick Ankiel, Jose Canseco, Jason Giambi, Ken Caminiti I would be suprised if Gary Sheffield pops up cause I saw an interview with him where he totally down talks steriod use and proclaimed very clearly how he never did it and how he thinks it is so bad. bobbob1313
He also uses Viagra. I dont get it, what does Palmero have to do with Sheffield? He pointed at a guy during the investigation and said "I NEVER USED STEROIDS!!!!" Also, like I said, that's just a rumored list. Let's not tar and feather anyone because of that. ZenLunatic
He pointed at a guy during the investigation and said "I NEVER USED STEROIDS!!!!" I dont know if you saw the Sheffield interview, but he went on and on about his feelings about the subject. Would be a shocker for me, really. Not just statements to protect him from punishment, Sheffield had strong opinions.

Mr. Kinsley
He also uses Viagra. Hmm. Maybe the Viagra caused a false-positive test? It is a "performance enhancer." As for the list, Ismael Valdes? Really? He must have been getting some seriously lousy stuff because he was rather scrawny.
MrRain422
Sheffield says that steroids are only something that get injected into your butt. He used the cream and the clear, but doesn't consider them to be steroids because he didn't get a shot in the ass.
