Spawn's dad
and I promise you I'm left of you. I just prefer to actually think whereas you clearly don't.
sweetheart-mine
c) This is all getting kind of ridiculous.agreed. i do have better things to do. i really do thank you for reminding me! so long now. I just prefer to actually think whereas you clearly don't.
Guest Jules
if you think this is fun -- seeing that crap, and seeing that it's most likely to win in november -- you couldn't be more wrong. i don't have your smugness. wish i did. instead i have heartache. go ahead and have a good laugh about that. there, i just did it for you.Don't be so fucking dramatic. Your caricature bit doesn't hold water. McCain and Palin "put themselves on show as caricatures"? OK, fine, they're politicians. But, did you watch the DNC? To M.Peel, I dont mean to downplay Obama's intelligence or accomplishments (ok, maybe a little). I've said before I don't think working in Congress and voting on different programs amounts to much in the way of management, leadership, etc., things I happen to value in a candidate. That's all. JUDE
At least I'm sure Palin isn't Muslim.
Analogman
agreed. i do have better things to do. i really do thank you for reminding me! so long now. Don't let anyone run you out of here.
Guest Jules
Don't let anyone run you out of here.No one is running him/her out of here. Sweetheart has been just as "smug" as he/she claims other people are. It's an emotional topic, and if some people can't handle the thought of another view point, then they shouldn't be here in the first place.
John Smith
awesome. not smug at all. typical liberal. Smug is a word that I think gets tossed around by people in glass houses. Personally I find conservatives/republicans very smug they like who they are and don
mfwahl
typical liberal.I fucking hate this shit. Typical. Sounds like the rednecks that post on my paper's website. So dismissive. Don't mean to call you out personally spawn's dad or defend what you were replying to . It's more of a pet peeve and I haven't seen that language here. You should see the comments section on my paper's website. A newspaper story about anything, political or not, turns into divisive political bullshit. It makes my stomach churn. This one guy actually called for a civil war between liberals and conservatives so he could kill some liberals.
Party @ the Moontower
At least I'm sure Palin isn't Muslim. Most awesome statement.

Party @ the Moontower
Smug is a word that I think gets tossed around by people in glass houses. Personally I find conservatives/republicans very smug they like who they are and donn't care if they are right or wrong, all they seem to care about is getting their own way and winner takes all. Think back to 2002 and 2004 after each of thsoe elections the republican stance was we won, you lost we get to do as we please because we won. Smug? I think so. Palin's convention speech and republican reaction Smug? I think so. Limbaugh smug? The very definition of it. It is one word that in my mind defines the republican party another word is angry, they are always angry about something, angry when they wiin, angry when they lose, angry whhen they get their way, angry whhen they don't. They drink way tooo much hateraide. Shhe scares me more than a bbatshit crazy sitting in a mud hut in the middl east though. Why? Because regardless of what he does that batshit crazy dude can not change america. Palin and her ilk can and are. Annyone who wants religion taught as sciennse scares me. Anyone who promotes a program that spends billions and is a known failure scares me. Annyoen who promotes book banning scares me. And sight unseen she has the love and support automatically of 30% of the country regardless of what she does. Two week ago if you surveyed 100 conservatives and asked thhem to name their top teen VP picks I doubt Palin would have made the top 50 or maybe even the top 100. The day she was announced they all loved her and said she was the perfect pick. Talk about blindly following.Hateraide, I love that! Your words are so right on John Smith. I guess we should just toss out separation of church and state because it pisses off God.

I've said before I don't think working in Congress and voting on different programs amounts to much in the way of management, leadership, etc., things I happen to value in a candidate. That's all. And yet you continued voting for Bush long after it was apparent he did not quite excel at either. I get the sense that, had Obama reached across party lines to choose Palin as a running mate, you
bobbob1313
the bottom line is I'm not voting for anyone related to bin laden or saddam.

Duck-Billed Catechist
the bottom line is I'm not voting for anyone related to bin laden or saddam.Everyone's related somehow. I don't think there's much chance that a Kenyan would be closely related to an Iraqi or Saudi Arabian, though.
Central Scrutinizer
the bottom line is I'm not voting for anyone related to bin laden or saddam. You mean blood kin? Because HW Bush was sitting next to bin laden's brother and other members of the Carlyle Group on 9/11/01.

Oh, yeah ... "Ditto, ditto, ditto!"
JUDE
Hateraide, I love that! Your words are so right on John Smith. I guess we should just toss out separation of church and state because it pisses off God. How can Obama lose with people such as yourself supporting him as vocally as humanly possible? Everyone's related somehow. I don't think there's much chance that a Kenyan would be closely related to an Iraqi or Saudi Arabian, though. Well, Kenya is closer to the Fertile Crescent than say Arizona.
MrRain422
I don't think that McCain's family is native to Arizona though, and relatively speaking, Illinois isn't much closer to the fertile crescent than Arizona is. Panama is closer to it than Hawaii is though. What were we talking about again?

Party @ the Moontower
the bottom line is I'm not voting for anyone related to bin laden or saddam. Obama is related to both President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, and I'm stilll voting for him.
