You guys always get screwed. Bands should try to hit that market a little harder. It's got potential.

Actually, what's it been a year or two?

there were here last June. June 26th to be precise.

Umm lets see. They Played Hammerstein back in June 07 Sold out in 2 minutes and the Warsaw in Brooklyn which sold out in less than one minute. Many people weren't able to see Wilco at all on that tour due to the demand. NYC and its immediate area have over 30 million residents. I think that warrents another larger show in the area???

Sure alot of bands play NYC but keep in mind. Most things sell out rediculously quick and NYC shows are usually 25-50% more expensive than almost everywhere in the Country..im just saying :rolleyes

If they schedule shows further into May, it would make for a pretty sweet birthday trip! I hope they post some more dates, but I can't believe that they'll still be touring then. These guys are ferocious!

So they should be hitting your area more than other areas because it's a denser population and pricey? C'mon remphish, by living in that area you can not complain about a lack of shows (Wilco/otherwise) and expect to be taken seriously.

I think it's neat that they're hitting odd areas where folks who generally have little/select access to them can now have access, is all. They can't play everywhere and all the time and I think they do a decent job of hitting as much of the country (and overseas as well) as they possibly can.

NYC shows are generally more expensive because people will pay more for tix in NYC. Cost of living and wages are higher, too. It all evens out.

ed. And I hope they do add some NYC shows for you. I like NYC.
