me too, but i doubt it

Hey, you never know, he might show up there! I know for a fact he is not coming to Virginia. So, my chances of seeing him rely on his coming to D.C. which is 3 hrs away. Other than that I may be able to see him if he decides to come to Philadelphia or New York. I grew up close to both cities and I still have all my family living close by between them both! I got to see Wilco once back in 2004. I saw Bob Dylan last year... Tom Waits is the only one of must sees to see live! I must see this man before he or I leaves this earth! :D

Having him perform near you is only one hurdle. Getting tix will be another challenge.

As I recall, last time around these were harder-than-hell tickets to get. I was lucky enough to score 2. All tix were will-call which worked out extremely well for everyone except the scalpers. :thumbup

It was a great show, and I definitely want to see him again. But I'm not sure I can be so lucky to score tix this time.

Ok.

"Pescajumba".

Of note to all: Knoxville box office says tix will be $85 bucks.

No info as of yet when they will actually go on sale.

Columbus could not verify prices or a sale date at this time.

YES!! Bigger venue than last time, and the nicest venue I've ever been to. The Fox is...BY A HUGE MARGIN...the best thing in Atlanta.

Hopefully those dates have not been debunked by the official press conference.

The only show I could maybe get to would be from Norfolk, Va to Knoxville, TN which driving is 527 miles and would take 8 hours 21 mins to get there. :hmm Airfare is waaayyy too expensive for me to afford. My mom is a travel agent and I had her looking the prices up for me this morning. Nothing was below $300 for any of the shows + the ticket itself+ hotel costs. That I just simply cannot afford....Damn! Oh well, someday I will see get to see Mr. Waits, someday. :ohwell

Any news on who he'll have in his band? I'm assuming these aren't going to be solo shows.

According to this, it looks like Marc Ribot will not be part of the Waits tour.

Maybe he'll use Duke Robillard again.

Not sure yet. However, I'm sure we'll hear the news soon. I have heard that David Alvin was rumored to be playing...
