jenbobblehead
Best wishes! Remember to drink water, and eat, and take the time during the day to appreciate the wonderfulness of it all. It goes by so fast, you'll forget so much. Make sure someone makes you a food plate, and some cake. Have a good time! And if you change your mind at the last minute, it is ok. Just don't be an asshole about it!

pillowy star
All the best, Craig. Getting married to my beautiful husband was the best decision of my life - apart from becoming a mum - and fills it with joyous wonder every single day.
MattZ
Congrats!! Where in NYC? (Don't worry, I won't crash) My wife and I got married in Central Park -- the "venue" cost us $25 bucks (for a park permit).
remphish1
Actually getting married in Long Island (Roslyn). Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I am sure I will have some stories to share. Hopefully the band we are having will break out with I'm Always in Love...They have been known to play Wilco songs before and I requested they throw some in if they can! Lammycat
. Hopefully the band we are having will break out with I'm Always in Love...They have been known to play Wilco songs before and I requested they throw some in if they can! "Hopefully" ?! You're paying them. They will play what you tell them to play or they will not be paid, and that's final. Enjoy the moment, remphish.

remphish1
SweetSweetSweet Best of luck to you and the future missus remphish1. I guess that would make you guys remphish1 (squared) ??????and future remphish2, remphish3, etc.... What's the wedding song, my friend????? Unfortunatley my fiance and I have very little common ground musically. She likes sappy songs so we are having the Eagles Love Will Keep Us Alive..we both sorta like the Eagles which is one of the few bands we meet on. I did take her to see Wilco which she liked some of and Gary Louris. I actually relinquished alot of control on details of the wedding even in the music department (which is definatley my department) which has actually made it stress free on my behalf. I did realize most songs I would want to hear at a wedding are not good dancing songs. I mean it is hard to dance to most REM, Radiohead (especially) and some Wilco. Congrats, dude! Partial setlist for the band: The One I Love > Waste > I'm Always In Love. 2 of those are on the proposed list. One I Love and Always in Love...along with I'm the Man Who loves You. I though am not the one who paid for the band as my fiances parents did so I did limit my request to appease the future inlaws

VenusStopsTrain2
Congratulations! Remember to pack some snack food for the plane on the way over because let's face it you are going FAR and you should have some things to eat...like granola bars, fruit snacks, you could even make your own snack mix from various cereals and stuff. Oh and definitely pack an outfit in your carryon because after being on planes for that long you'll probably want to change at some point...oh and deoderant (sp?) and wet wipes are always wonderful Have a great honeymoon! Thanks for the pointers! I learned the hard way on a "shorter" flight to Tokyo where I didn't bring anything on the plane. Even at 13 hours I was tired, hungry and itching to change my clothes! Flying just knocks you out in all forms! Can't wait for this one!
