Guest Da Dogg
give me a break. is speech free only when someone else doesn't disagree? I don't give myself 100 post in this forum. I know the likes on this board. Hate other opinions, but claim to be free thinkers and tolerant of others. of course they do, as do most companies out there to make money. however, they are but two of thousands of (better) sources of information. Most companies are not news organizations with a trust to the public to give true unbiased information. Good Old Neon, not on the cross, but a lot of people in this thread should put down their torches.

sweetheart-mine
Most companies are not news organizations with a trust to the public to give true unbiased information. that's a "trust to the public" i've probably never seen fulfilled. it's a nice ideal, though, and one i myself held for many years. now you've stirred up my yearning for the old days. how old are you? Young enough to have never seen it the ideal fulfilled, but old enough where it was not always so blatant. I will fight you. Hell yeah! I love fights... Be warned I bite ... bleedorange
Why is it that when someone starts complaining about "freedom of speech," it's usually in a place that could legally and easily prevent that person's speech?
Guest Da Dogg
Why is it that when someone starts complaining about "freedom of speech," it's usually in a place that could legally and easily prevent that person's speech? I understand that it is legal here to censor opposing opinions, and I understand that it also can easily be done. But this is supposed to be a board of free and independent thinkers, correct? A board of intellects no? I know where the line of free speech is drawn. My question is why submit ourselves to such censorship? Why be part of something that does not allow people to be truly free with their words? Sticks and stones you know? This board can be that freedom.

This board does not have a clean past. I hope it is different now, but there is blood on this board. I got scared because I was called a troll and was told I will not make it here. Implying that I would get knifed.

fatheadfred
Did you use Mussolini just to avoid using Hitler? I hate to have to point this out, but Sarah Palin isn't quite as bad as Mussolini. Yeah, she's a little dumb and probably shouldn't be Vice President, but she is no fascist. She's not smart enough to be a fascist.

Edie
Is it just me or does her daughter not look as pregnant as she did during the republican national convention? Back then they showed various shots of her and she ws definately showing, but on that Flyers video she did not look preggers, and those were not maternity jeans and a big sweater to hide it, those were regualr clothes. Different daughter. Bristol is the one that is pregnant -- I think the ones in the video are Willow and Piper.
