Great sound, great performance overall, including a sublime "Less Than You Think" (sans drone). I'm listening to 2/26/08 at the 9:30 club right now. I actually went to the show the following night there, but this is a great recording as well.

u2roolz
Hey VCers, Surprised quite a few of you loved the Eugene 9-4-03 show as much as I do. So in keeping with the 2003 shows, I finally took advantage of Owlandbear and can't thank those guys enough for having such a fucking awesome site. I now just added 2 more shows from 2003: 4-21-03 the first 2003 show in the US at Otto's. Which is almost a year before the 2004 new lineup was introduced. I haven't listened to it yet, but the show opens with At Least That's What You Said and Company In My Back. Also of importance is New Madrid and Kicking Television. But the real highlight looks to be the Handshake Drugs-Not For The Season combo. 5-01-03 a show I kept hearing about on here and now I can't wait to listen. The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC is the place and what a show they got. Opening with One By One than Sunken Treasure than Less Than You Think than doing I Am Trying To Break Your Heart sans the typical opening. Bob Dylan's 49th Beard, When The Roses Bloom Again, Pick Up The Change and More Like The Moon. WTF! Also, a pretty early Theologians I think. And I love those close to 10 minute Not For The Season. They need to do that this year. Let Nels rip that up. Thanks, Kristofor PS I think i'm getting into the 2003 shows because I have so few of them. The ones that I have I love like Eugene, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.PPS Thanks again to Owlandbear. I had a hard time downloading with a Mac, but once I found out the easy way to do it I realized this could get dangerous. Ha.
