Mr. Kinsley
I'm noticing that most of the shows don't have any opening acts assigned to them as of yet. In an attempt to both remedy that situation and help make life easier for everyone behind the scenes of Wilco, I propose we nominate local performers from each city. How about a little home cooking? First up, Los Angeles/Pomona - I have two suggestions.#1 - Jason KarabanGreat singer/songwriter with some very catchy, heartfelt tunes. His newest album, Sobriety Kills, is an unflinching look at trying to overcome addiction and do the right thing. I highly recommend his stuff. #2 - Garfunkel & OatesA very unconventional choice, seeing as they are more of a comedy bit, but damn it if they aren't funny. Would be a great way to kick off an evening. I especially like "Pregnant Women are Smug."
bold992003
I thought most of the shows did....but I'll nominate Dan Auerbach, same label, it would make sense.

theashtraysays
So, the Cinci show is June 12, and looks like a one-stop warm-up for Bonnaroo on the 13th after they get back from Europe. In looking at Andrew Bird's tour, he is also playing at Bonnaroo (14th). His date prior to that is June 8 in Colombia, MD. So......... It seems only logical that AB would stop by in Cinci to have a one-night warmup with his Wilco buds before the Roo fest. I approve. Tony, call Andrea and do lunch. That is all. Carry on. I would like to see The Bad Plus open for Wilco, mostly because I would like to see Nels jam with them, too bad that would never happen
Guest Alan
Yo La Tengo is opening in Brooklyn but should be opening every show. They are such an awesome band, possibly greater than Wilco.

mikechuck
For the El Paso show I was gonna suggest Sleepercar (a nice little alt-country offshoot of At The Drive-In and Sparta), and as I'm logging on to suggest this, my buddy called me and told me that they, in fact, ARE opening for them here. Nice!
Guest Alan
I'm waiting for them to add an opener for the Royal Oak MI show. Dutchess and the Duke would be a perfect opener.

Moss
the Junkies will be on tour with Son Volt. I'm assuming this is a "co-headlining" thing? I would actually rather see Son Volt headline with an opening band.
