damo
wow this actually made me like this song
virtualreason
You should just take that link down now, because it's against board policy to post video links. A mod should be through in a bit to clean it up.

Gobias Industries
Wilco policy is against videotaping (audio is OK) if I remember correctly, but I heard about this from Pitchfork, and it makes me like the song even more than before, which is a lot given that I really like the song to begin with. virtualreason
I should add something constructive to this thread. This video really blew me away. Feist and Jeff have a certain chemistry on stage that's quite adorable. And the arrangement sounds fuller live than on the album; granted, I've only listened to the stream a handful of times. howdjadoo
So what's wrong with snatching this one from YouTube? we ain't living in China ? are we? Admin edit: Sorry, but we at Via Chicago wish to respect the band's stand on not allowing videotaping of live performances, which is why we don't allow the posting of live video or links to these. mpolak21
So what's wrong with snatching this one from YouTube? we ain't living in China ? are we? This might be the only thing I don't understand in the policy here, we've never had any problems with Trade Vines of JHamm DVD's not all of which are pro-shot or authorized by the band, but now linking to YouTube videos isn't allowed? I don't see the harm or the problem, but alas I am not making the decisions. --Mike
Happiechick
Does anyone know the genius behind the idea of getting Jeff and her together? I am just so curious. Their voices sound AMAZING together, IMO, and what a cute show they put on at the Wiltern.
GtrPlyr
That was a cool video. I find the contrast between the two artists interesting: Feist has such a confident and natural stage presence, whereas Jeff's is a bit more self-conscious and muted. Nevertheless they compliment each other nicely on this one. It's too bad she isn't touring with them, I think she'd be a good influence on their live show.
Sunken mountain
Mr Tweedy seems to be a very shy man whereas she´s having fun, dancing, etcI wonder what can be his reaction without his guitar (I think he´s still very umconfortable singing Hummingbird)
twigboyjoe
Wow, gonna get hunting for this! Adore Feist almost as much as Wilco

gracernz
I never really listened to Feist before but I had wished for/imagined/dreamt of a duet with Regina Spektor! This is the next best thing, her voice reminds me of Regina, so clear and beautiful.

I appreciate that. So Jeff is the genius, good call on his part. I just can't get over how fun that performance was at the Wiltern, (via you tube). My kids are loving it that Feist sang with Wilco. I hope we see/hear more of that duo.
caliber66
I don't know about you, but I don't live with anyone named Feist.
