Guest Runaway Jim
"How to Fight Lonliness" always seemed so roast beef to me.
Guest Speed Racer
I'm still rooting for a pulled-pork, "Barnyard Pimp" sandwich. Oooh, maybe with bacon. That would certainly be pimpin'.
gogo
Owned and operated by a card-carrying VCer, of course.
cryptique
"How to Fight Lonliness" always seemed so roast beef to me.Heh. Are you an Achewood fan? Owned and operated by a card-carrying VCer, of course. Awesome. I thought this sounded familiar -- thanks for linking back to that post. If I get to Toronto anytime soon, I'll definitely stop in. isadorah
i would have pegged "side with the seeds" to have been something on rye or sunflower seed bread, maybe a nice poppy seed. it is probably just me though.

lamradio
I'm sure the Wilco's are flattered. I wonder if they've gone there yet. They pretty much have to..
Mr. Kinsley
Is this the place with the camel out front and the little orange table/chairs?

keylime
I keep forgetting this exists/packing my lunch and then remembering. Also, I've apparently have walked by it a ton of times and have never seen it. What is wrong with me? I will go today.
Turnips
yeah I live really close too and have never noticed the place. Will make it a point to check it out this week
Reedo
They should have a really unhealthy sandwich called, "I am Trying To Break Your Heart." Maybe a deep fried BLT.
Guest Speed Racer
Only if their liquor license allowed it to be served with a Dixie cup of the kind of fine whiskey that goes with bacon.

Edie
It's now in the "news" section on Wilco world (I didn't see anyone else point that out....)
Moss
Pitchfork link also in Pitchfork
Guest Speed Racer
I don't have a tally, but I think that in Pitchfork, Wilco is the band most frequently tagged in concert with "WTF".
keylime
So I finally went, and its pretty cool. The Via Chicago is delicious, and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's kind of a trip to be eating under a Wilco poster of a show that I've attended while hearing people say "Let me try a Dreamer in my Dreams" or "I'll have a Wishful Thinking". They bake their own bread! And make their own pickles!!! I got to talk with Chad and he's super nice. The space itself is really comfortable and open. Also, good music! I will definitely go back regularly for studying purposes. All y'all should come on up to Toronto and we can take over the place.
c.lo
They should have a really unhealthy sandwich called, "I am Trying To Break Your Heart." Maybe a deep fried BLT.exactly what I was thinking
Dude
I don't have a tally, but I think that in Pitchfork, Wilco is the band most frequently tagged in concert with "WTF". I'd wager Weezer / Rivers Cuomo has them beat by a mile. I mean he straight-faced played a song with Kenny G, for chrissake. That and an album named Raditude with this on the cover: Arguably the whole last 14 years of his / their career have been one huge WTF.
