PopTodd
This one is a little weird, but there ARE songs out there that reference specific people in the title, by both first and last name. Of course, they are usually famous people. But it doesn't even have to be anyone that really exists. (Although Santa Claus and Jesus Christ should probably be eliminated from consideration here.)Here are a few that I can think of: "Living With Victoria Grey" - Martin Newell"Illya Kuriakin Looked At Me" - Martin Newell"David Bowie Needs Ideas" - Bongwater"Just Like Jesse James" - Van Morrison"Ruby Soho" - Rancid"Caroline Wheeler's Birthday Present" - The Jazz Butcher"You're A Good Man Albert Brown (Curse You Red Barrel)" - The Dukes Of Stratosphear"Leo Goldberg's 2-Step" - Hop On Pop"Raymond Chandler Evening" - Robyn Hitchcock"James K. Polk" - They Might Be Giants"Julie Profumo" - Cleaners From Venus"Clara Bow" - Cleaners From Venus"Pablo Picasso" - The Modern Lovers"Walter Johnson" - Jonathan Richman"Vincent Van Gogh" - Jonathan Richman"Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" - Bob Dylan I just found these on my iTunes. If you can think of/dig up any more, that would be cool to hear.Seems like Martin Newell/Cleaners From Venus and Jonathan Richman/Modern Lovers have a few of these!
