This is one of the acts I play with. just guitar and drums. We did a Nirvana Nevermind tribute where each band from around town would cover one song... We did a Specials-Tom Waits-Punky version of Lounge Act... which we arranged that afternoon... so the singer doesnt know the words. Also I am completely wasted. Getting my Darren Jesse on! But it sounds better than I remember it.ahaha.

Since this is a Wilco forum I thought I'd share this cover I did of Woody Guthrie's song "I Hear You Sing Again". Kind of similar to the Mermaid Avenue idea because I've never heard Guthrie's version of the song so I made up my own tune. I only own The Asch Recordings so that's all I've heard. I found the lyrics on Guthrie's official website. As I say in my description of this video's page "I woulda coulda shoulda done a little better on vocals".

Sorry I don't have a YouTube account, just signed up for Vimeo so I could put some videos on ReverbNation which other than this Guthrie video are all my original songs. If anyone cares to check that out, please do. It's pretty much all acoustic songs with some other instruments incorporated. http://www.reverbnat...entlyknownasrod

Hee hee; just found this. It's more than a couple years old, but here's my band playing the somewhat local college radio station:

I guess technically this isn't youtube, but it is a video that can be seen on the interwebs, so I'm hoping it can be grandfathered in.

Cool stuff, everyone! Finally, some decent video exists of my band, Bon Vivants (not the Bon Vivants band that you can find on youtube. We predate their use of the name). Will post it as soon as it's been youtube'd.

In January I was on tour with one of the bands I play in and our friends at Lake House Studios wanted to record us playing a song live to tape to show off their tape console since nobody really records direct to tape any more. No computers. Nothing! Lots of fun. Plus we go to raid their awesome vintage guitar closet. I got to play the Rickenbacker !
