I'll be there tonight too, remphish1. With my wife. Let me know if I can buy you a beer, er, wine.

I'm flying solo though I got the front row center seat at the tables...where are you sitting? Although it's city winery they have some nice microbrew bottles

Saw The National last night playing in front of the Sydney Opera House.  Amazing gig.  It was streamed live - and the whole thing can be replayed on the link below.  Well worth checking out - great sound/vision quality (show starts at the 14 minute mark):

they're so great live. the national might be my current favorite band.

My first time at Concord was last night. It is a really terrible venue. Looks nice enough, but the sound competes with the Aragon for worst in the City by my ears. Felt bad for the AD from a sound standpoint - they appeared to be having the same issue from the stage. And then there was the crowd, who barely noticed they were on the stage...

Remember when we were complaining about how structurally lousy the Concord Music Hall is?  So...the roof caved in last week.

Thank God at least it will get a thorough inspection.

Should be great. Let us know.

It was fantastic.  They covered all the bases, and despite just getting over cancer in the last couple of months, Sharon had tons of energy.  It's nuts how smooth and tight, but still loose and relaxed sounding, the band is during the segment where Sharon demonstrates a bunch of '60s era dance styles.

The only song I was hoping to hear that they didn't play was this one  ("Without a Heart" from I Learned the Hard Way):  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBJ_6eUik48

Sorry, I'm in Denver, actually. Just thinking about your gig tonight that you posted the other day. Have fun tonight and hope you get a good crowd.
