howdjadoo
How does one "record" the roadcase shows? suggestions?Record it thru your soundcard using a free proggy like "Audacity" (I prefer Roxio Creator, not free but well worth the money)" as 1 file in wav or flac. The recorded file you've to split up in separate tracks with "CD Wave" and if you're not too lazy use "Tag & Rename"to give the proper names. locke456
it was my first time trying something like this, but i recorded it and cut it into 20 tracks. am i allowed to share? i've ripped roadcase streams and posted them on here before, and it's always been okay, so i'd imagine it's still fine. locke456
okay, i'm actually ripping all four of these after all. it might take a bit to track each show and tag the mp3s, but i'll try to have them up later this week

Mcmanus0624
Is there by chance some reason why the road case shows will not play on my IPhone or IPad?
locke456
got all four shows ripped, and tracked one, only to find that using "export selection" in audacity introduces some weird overlapping effect between tracks. found a different way to cut the tracks up this morning, but i'm hoping to be off on a mountain climbing trip tomorrow if the weather clears up. either way, though, i should have these up by the end of the week. i'll post here when i finish them. Real Rival
How do you request songs for specific concerts? I thought they had some kind of form or is it just the fan inquiries email address? Or are they not taking requests via internet any more. Thanks!
Autumnteeth
Roadcase looks like it changed since last week. Last week it was redirecting me to a site where it had a graphic volume graph that let me time recording to stop and restart at the exact right point. It also had a back door that let you access hundreds of unauthorized songs, and I Might was up for a while. Anyways, I like the new site a lot, and am listening to Tuscon now. Hotel Arizona is a great song you don't hear enough of live.

mus2009
Speaking of new websites. Does anyone know when the preorder site for The Whole Love is going up today? I'm in the UK for a few weeks, so I had been hoping it'd be up at midnight in the US; alas, I shall check again about noon Chicago time when I'm free
3.63
It's up now. Bought myself the deluxe CD and the LP.
locke456
okay, i got the four new roadcase shows uploaded, finally. everything's in CBR 256kbps mp3, and should be correctly tagged and all that jazz. they're all available in my mediafire folder, here, along with four of the older roadcase shows, in case you don't already have those. mediafire is by far my favorite uploading service, but unfortunately, you have to download each track separately, as they don't allow large (+200MB files) without a paid account. i tried zipping up each of the shows into one file, but all but the tweedy one was over 200MB. i tagged and tracked these shows really quickly last week because i'm sort-of buried in work right now, so if there are any mistakes, let me know and i'll re-up a corrected version of the offending song(s). enjoy! You can just zip up the shows into two separate files -- that's how I often shared live stuff with my friends. It's not as convenient, I suppose, to not have the whole show in one place, but it's easier in my mind to download two 90MB zips than individual tracks.
