Queen Amaranthine
Do you have a favorite font? This font feature is on NPR:http://www.npr.org/2...ype?sc=fb&cc=fp I'm a Candara fan myself.
-seven
I mostly use Trebuchet. I like things clean and simple. Edit: I was half asleep when I answered, but I also meant to say, fun topic.
Queen Amaranthine
Trebuchet is an excellent font. Clean and simple works, definitely. I totally agree with what that NPR features says about comic sans. It's a fun font, but soooo misused and overused.
-seven
I trust you've seen this:http://www.flickr.co...ive/4773512458/
welch79
yeah, interesting thread. don't know what it says about me, but i usually just default to arial when creating docs/notes/schedules for my students. in my email, my font is tahoma. back in the day, i was a times new roman man, but i got bored with it. there was a time, since i work with younglings, that i used comic sans, but then everybody started using it in my building, so i discontinued. what a trendsetter i am... mpolak21
Cooper Black (the font on Pet Sounds' cover and the credits of FX's Louie) or Futura (the font on all Wes Anderson's movies). --Mike
Sweet Papa Crimbo
I somehow ended up with Tahoma as my email font. Don't know how it happened, but I don't feel inclined to changed it.

sonicshoulder
There are some pretty dorky threads around here but this one clearly takes the cake...no offense.

-seven
There are some times when Comic Sans is just right. I think all replies from here forward should be posted in the font of which you refer. Just an idea. I did it up there on my post but I'm sure it was barely noticeable since it's so close to whatever this board uses (arial?)
ih8music
This is the closest we have for the font I use for email (Lucida Console). I really liked it when I switched over, but not so much now.
jimmyjimmy
There are some pretty dorky threads around here but this one clearly takes the cake...no offense. It's true. But, still..."fun". Tahoma, for a long time. Now I'm into the classic serifs of Times New Roman.
Sir Stewart
I really like Helvetica because it doesn't try to tell me to feel a certain way.
bleedorange
I've always been a huge Georgia fan. I like Garamond too. Oh, and Great Thread!
Queen Amaranthine
Yes, Garamond! Now I'm into the classic serifs of Times New Roman. Classic, definitely. In some ways it looks like a dated/old font, but I too use it often because it is one of the most readable/easy readability fonts. That and Calibri, partly because it too is a simple font, partly because it's default in my Word and sometimes I'm too lazy to scroll for something else! Still, Candara wins my heart overall, even though it's not practical for everything. LOVE the font humor links above! It reminded me of this, which I'd forgotten about. Courier is one ugly font, but I'm sure it has its loveable points.http://www.cronknews...es-war-on-font/
Sir Stewart
I've always liked this one (probably because I still don't see it used anywhere): http://www.dafont.com/turkey-sandwich.font
Guest Jules
Calibri, but this fucking website doesn't have it as an option.
jimmyjimmy
Classic, definitely. In some ways it looks like a dated/old font, but I too use it often because it is one of the most readable/easy readability fonts. And that's exactly why I chose it for the text I recently had tattooed on my left, inside forearm.

Mr. Heartbreak
I prefer Times New Roman, but I have to use Geneva a lot at my job.
