Mr. Heartbreak
Wow, impossible task. I'll give it a shot. uncool2pillow
Jumpin Jack Flash is overplayed, but that riff pretty much defined the Stones. Same with Satisfaction. Most underrated Stones Song is Monkey Man Those 3 are on my list. Can't Always Get What You WantSympathy For the DevilStreet FIghting ManGimme ShelterTumbling DicePaint it BlackUnder My Thumb I reserve the right to change my mind a few dozen times. I thought about Miss You, Beast of Burden, even Waiting on a Friend.

worldrecordplayer
I know the topic calls for 10, but it's late and I'm tired, and I thought it incredible that I didn't see Dead Flowers already mentioned!
jw harding
A lot of great stuff mentioned already. Will just add Sway, and all of Exile. I guess that's more than ten.
uncool2pillow
Exile is a great album filled with few top notch songs. As I made my list I didn't want to ignore it, but had trouble including it. Tumbling dice was one of the hardest to include and I'm not sure I picked the best song from exile. PopTodd
A really hard task here. Although my #1 is easy:• Rocks Off the rest (in no real order):• She's a Rainbow• Monkey Man• Gimmie Shelter• Happy• Shine a Light• Street Fighting Manand 3 more that probably also come from Exile. mpolak21
I had You Can't Always Get What You Want as my number one choice, but was informed by Jack Black's character from High Fidelity of it's immediate disqualification because of it's involvement with the Big Chill. Here are ten more. Monkey ManShe's a RainbowNo ExpectationsRuby TuesdayLoving CupI'm WaitingLet's Spend The Night TogetherGimmie ShelterWild HorsesSympathy For the Devil And five more after that, because they are so fucking good:Street Fighting ManBack Street GirlMother's Little HelperPaint it, BlackHappy. My only problem with that song is that Townes Van Zandt did such an amazing job with that song that I can barely listen to the Stones' version.
Atticus
it's nice to see songs from The Rolling Stones' best album, Sticky Fingers, mentioned.

Mr. Heartbreak
I, too, had a hard time including Tumbling Dice because there are so many other great Stones songs. And now that I'm seeing lists with Dead Flowers, Gimme Shelter and Monkey Man, I am second-guessing my list all over again. Can't we make it Top Twenty?
worldrecordplayer
My only problem with that song is that Townes Van Zandt did such an amazing job with that song that I can barely listen to the Stones' version. Never heard that version. I first knew Dead Flowers as a New Riders song. They killed it. Check out their version on Home Home on the Road, a fantastic live album (not just because I was in the audience) recorded at NYC's Academy of Music (my home away from home during h.s.) and produced by Garcia.
