Jcamp
Yes, I was just checking that out. Really great !  "Climb in the back with your head in the cloudsand you're gone".
Moss
"Take it Phil" in this version of Two of us. Apparently an homage to the Everly Brothers which influenced the vocals on the track, at about 1:48. Although I suppose it could be Phil Spector.
Analogman
It was due to the way they stood together and shared a microphone - as the Everly Brothers use to do.
Sir Stewart
That one's my favorite. I say Take it Phil when I listen to the album version too.
choo-choo-charlie
Great line. Definitely not about Phil Spector -- he wasn't brought in until after the recordings were finished.  I love the barking and shouting and general goofing off happening at the end of "Hey Bulldog." Moss
I like how Lennon says "alright" at the 4.14 mark of Revolution #9.

Moss
I don't spend enough time on youtube, you find all sorts of amazing stuff. Edit: Oddly, even in this version he says "alright" at the 4:14 mark. Nice!

Moss
Love that Rosewood Tele George is playing. I remember staring at that guitar for like 15 minutes at the R&R Hall of fame. Always liked how they start I dig a Pony with "All I want is you".
choo-choo-charlie
Always liked how they start I dig a Pony with "All I want is you". Me too. Better than the album version.
Sir Stewart
Anyone catch any of CNN's British Invasion show last night? Mostly retreaded anything you've already seen/heard, but they did a nice job of including the way American soul and British bands weaved into each other's sounds. Plus I don't think I ever heard the radio broadcast of the girl who "discovered" The Beatles via a news report and introduced I Want To Hold Your Hand on D.C. radio for the first time in America. choo-choo-charlie
Missed it - darn! It would be fantastic if the entire Ed Sullivan performance was rebroadcast next month.

Winston Legthigh
Really maroon 5? You don't have a guy in your starting lineup who can sing Paul's harmony part? A guy in your backing band has to do it?
Sweet Papa Crimbo
Who's playing guitar along with Peter Frampton in that house band?
uncool2pillow
If I'm reading this right it's Steve Lukather from Toto. http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/5901114/peter-frampton-on-beatles-tribute-a-lot-of-not-so-dry-eyes
