remphish1
Wow what a venue!! Beautiful and the sounds good too! Surprises to me where I Must Be High and Space Oddity closer!!! I had the pleasure also of meeting ladyc from the board and oddly Mario Battali! Speaking off food word to the wise attending tomorrow eat before coming here the restaurants nearby are awful! dmait
Have the tacos at Sycamore. Absolutely worth the walk. That Kamera was Velvet Underground-ish. Love it. Powerful. Star Wars influencing the older songs.
parisisstale
Heard they soundchecked Bowie wed night. Glad you got it!!!
Yaz Rock
That wasn't Kamera, it was Camera (the alternate version). Which sounds different than the usual, album version.Venue staff were fantastic - professional, cheerful, and welcoming - all the way around. Sign of a well-run organization.Glad to see the crowd stood from the get-go. I think there were a lot of first-timers/casual fans in the audience so I wasn't sure that would happen. A few assertive folks up front may have set the tone  A real annoyance was the constant stream of people trying to crash the front to sit with their buddies/occupy seats they didn't pay for/stand in the aisles. The ushers kept turning them back though later in the show they just made them squeeze in. Nice to hear Company in My Back, in addition to the above-named surprises. "We call that Star Wars.... But it just easily could have been called 'Spaceballs'.. or 'Cease and Desist.'" Totally wish i was going tomorrow night, but other plans beckon...
