Lammycat
2005 was fun. The below was one of my favorite moments against Boston, when El Duque got of the 6th in Game 3 with the base loaded and no outs. I kept a poor dude delivery my food waiting at my building' front door, so I could watch him get the last out. Exciting stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0s7svX1lY0Can't watch from work but I remember Damon struck out to end that inning. Loosely translated: "The Duke"
Sir Stewart
I like to think of the Red Sox 2004 postseason as a series of sweeps with a little 3-game bump in the road in the ALCS. After all, they did win 3 straight, 4 straight, and 4 straight!
mountain bed
At the beginning of the month I had Tribe over LA in 6. Well, I was wrong. Revised: LA over Astros in 6. Hoping to be wrong again.

ih8music
I don't like either team, but as a Giants fan I certainly have one team that I'm rooting for, lol. Tonight's game was insane. This is as good as it gets.

calvino
I made it to the 8th - I thought when the Astros took the lead again - that would be it...

Boss_Tweedy
Biggest winner: baseball. Great, seven-game series between two 100-plus game winners with rosters full of talent. Congrats to the Astros. What a great story after everything Houston's been through this year.
John Smith
Roy Halladay died in a plane crash today. He was 40. He was a great pitcher when he was on his game, which was most nights.
Lammycat
Roy Halladay died in a plane crash today. He was 40. He was a great pitcher when he was on his game, which was most nights.Agreed. Denver native. Lots of talk about HoF chances around here on sports radio. Unfortunately, reports are he had been flying erratically/on purpose:http://www.tmz.com/2017/11/08/roy-halladay-plane-crash-video-witnesses-showboating/

Lammycat
I won't get into the "come-from-behind-extra-innings-winning-6-and 1-Red -Sox" thing, but, on today's front cover of the Denver Post there was a boner: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23050418/denver-post-guide-coors-field-erroneously-features-photo-philadelphia-citizens-bank-park And, it's the home opener today amidst cold rain, and snow. Almost glad I'm working and missing it this year....
calvino
Jeez - how the hell can they can make that mistake. Other news - the White Sox completely blew their home opener yesterday.

calvino
Today is opening day at Wrigley. Postponed until tomorrow. Today was suppose to be youngest's first t-ball practice, too. (once the weather gets nicer - we'll post in the 2018 thread -- also, Lammy was the one who bumped this thread -- dammit' Lammy...)
