DiamondClaw
First listen I like "Out in the Dark" and "Enough" the best. "One Tiny Flower" is a little too hazy and strummy. It does remind me a little of Cry All Day from Schmilco though, a song I like.
Brian F.
Does anybody know if this livestream is going to be accessible from Jeff's Substack page? I don't see anything there.
Brian F.
Never mind. Found it.
coldasgasoline
I had to drop off the livestream, caught the following songs: caught up in the past stray cats in Spain one tiny flower did he play anything else?
50footqueenie
Is no-one going to talk about The Autumn Defense announcing a new album release on the same day? it’s like Blur v Oasis all over again!
nalafej
Lots of merch available with this release. More/better than the last few Wilco album cycles even?! Y'all really needing a frisbee with Jeff's picture on it? 1

Brian F.
How come John and Pat don't get to use Wilco channels to announce their release?

jff
Significant contributions on this record from Macie and Sima from Ohmme/Finom. That's a promising sign (although the record they did with Tweedy at The Loft is the clear low point of their discography, imo.)
SarahC
Getting tickets for the shows this tour was the easiest process I think I've ever had for any show... I don't know if it's cos it was through the tixr service, or what the difference was, but it took all of 30 seconds to buy for both shows we're going to on this run. If I had to guess it’s because a) they announced a ton of shows b) Tweedy band isn’t the same draw as a Wilco show and c) there are a lot of bands touring in the fall, and I can say personally that my Oct was already full by the time these shows were announced. But not having to deal with TM is a win. I bought through AXS which was also very easy, though I was annoyed to see a “Fast Pass” (aka skip the line) ticket upgrade option. Unsure who I should be directing that disappointment to but it’s lame.

That’s an AXS thing for sure… they used that at the Wilco shows we saw in May, and yeah, it was annoying, but at least for Asheville they included some pizza and a free coke.
Ghost Of Bob Cumming
I notice the vinyl of Twilight Override is now delayed until the end of October - in the UK at least. Got a confusing message from Reflex in Newcastle last week (having ordered TO and the new Joan Shelley at the same time), but Amazon now showing release as October 27th, so guessing the message was communicating - not very clearly - that Jeff's album is delayed. Pressing plant overload would be my guess?

calvino
Listening via Spotify -- enjoyable. Will be getting the vinyl. Also, just bought a ticket for the November 21st show in Madison -- last time I saw Jeff Tweedy in Madison was in 2005 -- the November 5th show - what a hoot that show was. 20 years ago - seems like 8,000 lifetimes ago..... lost highway
Too early to call it, especially with such a generous offering, but my gut tells me the best parts of this are the finest Tweedy solo work yet. A few songs struck me as being merely good- put them next to similar stuff from Warm/er and Love, but that's just fine.
