I found it interesting that he says, "... some contemporary view of how we should treat each other or how we should treat the family." So, we shouldn't treat all people fairly? Isn't that what the constitution is set up to do? So I guess it's OK to discriminate against some people that those of us who are 'in the know' as to exactly who God doesn't like say we should discriminate against. The most terrifying part about it all is that because of statements like this, he'll win the whole thing. Hmm. What's everyone's prediction on November? Not who you want, but who you think has the most

People... put down the remote, step away from the TV and go read a book or paint a picture or something. Sheesh. There's only one thing you need to know about the show - someone from the south will win. They always do.

I'd go even further and say that Uncommited should get the nomination. What could be more fitting of the attitude of our country than having a ticket of Uncommited with Ambivalent for the VP?

Too funny! Everything that showed up is from my friend's blog where I use the same username. This is his pug.

Yeah. As long as nobody posts here anymore it will just go awa... oh, wait.

Only if it's pink.

[Cue Sky Blue Sky to play over the end of this silly little spat.]

It is funny how everyone says Romney's goose is cooked, yet he's got more votes than anybody else. Funny peculiar, not funny ha-ha.

Nicely played. But as for Mrs. Obama's claim of people saying we aren't ready for a black president... who's saying that? Maybe I don't watch enough Fox News, but I haven't heard anyone saying that Clinton or Obama shouldn't be pres because of their gender or ethnicity. They say they aren't experienced enough or aren't electable or whatever, but not gender/race. Sure, there's plenty of it going on in coffee shops and such in the south I'm sure, but not in the press. As of this posting Obama's my guy, but I don't really like the 'race card' being played here. Seems like it will only backfir

The scary thing is that, it isn't JUST Fox. CNN is just as bad* on the conservative end with Glenn Beck and the "independent" end with Lou Dobbs, and of course the insanely liberal cheerleader Wolf Blitzer. Why can't they just tell me the news and let me make up my own mind? Objectivity doesn't get you ratings I guess. *OK, maybe not "just as bad." That's stretching a bit. Fox is just totally off the charts partisan-wise. But since I'm too lazy to rewrite my whole post I'll just put this disclaimer down here.

No, but I've always meant to get around to see it. I'm assuming that one of the Romans is taunting him with that same tidbit of irony. Just nice to know I'm on the right page. BTW, Golyadkin - what exactly are those numbers from/what do they represent?

Still too discrete.

Well, yeah, of course they are. You can't miss the fat load. With that nasty psuedo perm that looks like pubes, I'm sure it's more staring than looking.

I was just thinking about him the other day and how ironic* it is that he is so universally loved today that we forget how polarizing he was back in the day. My entire extended very midwestern, WASPy family hated him with a indescribable passion. It was a sort of "how dare that negro be so boastful and speak his mind in public" thing that really helped shape my opinion of how abhorrent that attitude is. *My last two posts have dealt with irony. How ironic.

Speaking of going to burn... it just hit me looking at that picture. The irony that he was a carpenter and then was nailed to a cross of wood. Not trying to be funny, just seemed odd to me that it never occurred to me until now. Did everyone else already get that? Am I that lame? Hmm. Don't answer that.

This is so discrete I don't even know what movie you're talking about.

I guess Jeff only busts out the tie when Satan sits in on keyboards.

Uh, what's that? As a public service to those of us who are tragically out of the loop, I beg of you fine people of VC to type in the title and band for album covers that come without such info pre-printed on it.

New strategy in the Iraq War: redeploy snow-making machines from US ski resorts to Baghdad to lull the insurgents into a blissful wintery euphoria. Call it 'shock and frost.'

Although, having said that, I am enjoying the beginnings of yet another THDW vs. El F no-holds-barred cage match.

Here's my twins.

The Kerry endorsement (as fun as it is to call it "the endorsement of death") will be forgotten by next week and a total non-issue. Union endorsements ARE a big deal because then you have a dedicated base of votes that will (mostly) come your way, as well as a supply of volunteers to help you out with campaign issues like phone banks, canvassing, etc.

I don't really like this thread very much.
