was there overdubbing on this album? i thought one of the way early rumors was that they were going to do it without overdubbing.

That depends on what challenges you, I enjoy the "noise" aspects of the last record without thinking "man, this is totally challenging what I consider to be music", but I might find the lyrics to "What Light" challenging to enjoy just because they're so simple. But I'm optimistic, I think i'm going to wear out the CD this summer.
